O.O Oh... My... GAWD!! Brilliance is in ambundance in you, child! I loved this! I'd give it five stars even. The story paced itself, going from one character's POV to the next, describing with such radiant words their feelings toward the eleven-year-old's sudden and unexpected death. Now I, myself, am a Jim fan. If his name is even mentioned in the summ, I'll read. Now call me a sick, twisted freak of a maniac, but my fave fics are the ones where the cute, smart, innocent, and completely helpless kid amongst men dies. IT'S JUST SO TRAGIC! And Jim definitly falls into that category. It was also a magnificent conflusion. Perfect. Jim is being told he's dead. I'm picturing, right now, a news paper headline reading "Young Genius Dies in Tragic Accident" or something. It would've been nice, though, if when in the second chappie when you hear segments of the story on the news, if they had said something about the victims. Not too specific, just enough to let Gene and the others know it's Jim. Like "...and a young boy, about ten or eleven, yet to be identified...". That would have tipped the ice berg for me. All in all, I thouroghly enjoyed it. ^.^

I want more! I WANT MORE! *Ahem* This's so freakin good! I can't remember the last Outlaw Star fic I read that was this exceptional in quality, wording, dialogue, descriptions, the seamless flow of everything!
This fic should be overflowing with reviews, and because its not really, I'm afraid it may be discontinued. Please, PLEASE don't let that happen! I will keep track of this story to the end ok? I'm interested.

AHHH! JIM! You just killed my all time favorite anime character! I think that I'm going to have to start therepy now...why Jim! Oh, why is fate so cruel...*sniffle* People should kill off Gene or Mel (not like they're VITAL to the story, sarcasm hehe...) Oh well, I forgive you, but only 'cause the story's excellent so far.
