I remember reading this story quite a while ago; I'm not sure why I never bothered to review it. Regardless, this has always been my favourite X-Men fanfic -- simply amazing.

man, the suspense was crazy and the end a bit sad... but a good story nonetheless. maybe you could be a mystery writer.

This story is great. It's been a while since I've read anything I actually liked on this site. This fic deserves much more recognition that it's gotten.

Excellent story. It's been a while since I read anything in the X-Men fandom and this certainly made me wonder what I've been missing. The mystery was excellent. The clues were there, but they weren't obvious. I liked the character interaction and the general mood of the story. It's a sad story, but very good.

It is a rare and extraordinary fic that can manage to be entirely serious and yet make the reader laugh in a few choice places. (i.e. "alphabetical," "high school principal," etc") This is such a fic.
The plot wove together in a such a way that one suspects, but does not know for sure, and is not even quite sure who to suspect at which point.
Extra kudos for the morality point at the end.

This was an awesome fic! I really enjoyed reading it, it kept me guessing up till the end and I felt your characterizations were right on. You do wonderful work and I'll be sure to keep my eye open for more of your stories.
