Um..ok, there are a few apparant errors here;

-Zerus was an ash planet similar to Char, with torrential fire storms. It wasn't a jungle planet, and probably couldn't even host such ecosystems.

-The Overmind divided the zerg into different broods, not the xel'naga.

-The Overmind created the cerebrates as "massive versions of the original zerg insectoids," which matches their portrayal in the game. Therefore, they probably didn't undergo any evolution, which makes Daggoth's ability to um...'express himself' a bit surprising.

-By the time the Overmind was created, almost every creature on Zerus had been infested by the zerg. It's unlikely that there were any creatures left on the planet capable of harming them.

Obviously there'll be a few liabilities from the manual, although these seem like glaring errors rather than intentional changes.

Quite an interesting plot here, although killing the cerebrate wouldn't really let the zerg be spared per se, given that they'd just revert to their natural, animalistic instincts. Still, it's good just the same.

Introduction chapter but still good.
The cerebrate are facets of the over mind's will, they are both guilty and not guilty of their race's horrors.
Without a Cerebrate, a zerg brood will kill everything in sight until it turns on itself, we saw this when Zazz met his end. Cerebrate can be mobile, they have cenitped legs hidden underneth all that bio-mass, they're just as slow as fully grown Hutts.
We know the tale of the Xel' Naga and the creation of the Zerg and the beginnings of their empire, what new side of things shall you show us story teller?

Very very good, the plot is interesting and displays the cerebrates as a sensible creature with thoughts and feelings rather than a mindless slave of the Overmind/Queen of Blades. Good job, can't wait till Chapter 2.

well, this story is good. but neither Dark Templars, nor any of Protoss use such words as "You deceitful Zerg bitch". They are not stupid terrans. They (Protoss) are High Race.
