Came here via Cam's rec, and oh, is this gorgeous. I'm not much of a CSI fan, but when I am, it's Cath and Grissom all the way. I love how deftly you've depicted all the facets of their relationship. This feels like an old comforter (and my metaphors suck, but there you have it) - warm and peaceful and just a little bit bittersweet because you don't know how long it's going to last. Beautiful story.

This was just one of the most fantastic things I have read on this site - maybe in a long time, maybe ever. Inspired and brilliant - so very well written, subtley powerful and honest and direct. It was very artistically done and I loved reading it, every word.

i loved this. it's hard to find good csi stories on here but this one is perfect. i like the history mixed with the present, i liked that grissom used to drink and stumble and i liked it all!

I love this story. It's definately one of my favourites. You write Catherine really well, and show the darker side of her past and her character amazingly. Please write more CSI! You rock!

It's so not my choice of pairing, but this fic just works brilliantly. Love the interpretation of the characters, the way the flashbacks are woven in and the ending is lovely.

GREAAAAAT story!!!!!!

I had read this somewhere before, but I decided I would read it again, since it had been a while. This is a very beautiful story. I love the history--it works perfectly. I love how you present them in current situations--just an all around wonderful story. Have you ever thought about continuing it? It is perfect where it ends, but somehow I just can't get enough G/C and when you find an author who represents them well, it can't hurt to ask. Can it?! Well, just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it(even better the second time around, I think). Thanks a lot!
