 Maralei01 2009-11-28 . chapter 14Hi,
I know you wrote this story forever ago, but I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed it. I'm a fan of sweet/fluffy H/D and this was definitely that. I also loved your chapter titles. Very cute. |
arineat 2009-10-03 . chapter 9very well written..here's where I have to stop for tonight but I am enjoying it! |
DelorisPea 2009-09-10 . chapter 14So glad someone pointed me this way - absolutely brilliant! |
Phoenix414 2009-09-03 . chapter 14I have to say that this is one of my absolute favorite stories, that I've had the good fortune to read. While I'm not all that new to fanfiction, I have stayed too the orignial set of stories that drew me in until recently (ie NCIS)and have only begun to start to branch out to other favorites, such as Harry Potter. I am extremely happy to have stumbled upon your story. It had me laughing, groaning at their antics, and even tearing up a bit, all of which a wonderful story should do. Thanks again for posting this and sharing your amazing imagination with us. |
AddictedToReading 2009-09-02 . chapter 14 This is such a heart warming story, I loved it, thanks for such a great read! |
Kalista Jia 2009-08-21 . chapter 2Wait until Draco sees me cook... It is even worse than Harry Potter. When I was a kid, I put rice in the microwave for 15 minutes without water. Of course, the microwave was destroyed (but got a new one yay), the rice was obviously burnt black (it turned to dust when you blow it) and the plastic container that held the rice melted on one side.
Ha! Beat that Potter! muhahaha.
Alright, off to the next chapter. I really like how you make the Muggle world into something interesting (through a Wizard's point of view, very interesting) and relate cooking to potion making, even better. Bravo. |
Amor Semper 2009-08-04 . chapter 2"emaciated" not "emancipated"
emancipated is like being set free of a tyrant
emaciated is like being starved causing u to be skinny.
just had to say something |
Dew the Do 2009-06-30 . chapter 14I loved this story! Kudos:) |
itsrainin9 2009-06-12 . chapter 14This was a brilliant story! I got here through a link on a rec list, and I have to say that I just love your Harry and Draco. I've been reading a lot of stories that have H/D living in the Muggle world lately, so this was just up my alley. I'm putting this on my Favourites list, and I will most definitely read it again. :) |
Reiko Katsura 2009-05-17 . chapter 14This story was fabulous! Just fabulous! Definitely something that wont leave my heart.
It took a while for me to get into, but I eventually did, and when that time came... Gosh, I was hooked.
The thing that had me riveted foremost was Narcissa's suicide act. That was just... "wow". It was strong, and I loved that scene immensely.
Harry and Draco's relationship was beyond endearing! I've been just searching for an amazingly romantic HD Fan fic to bite my teeth into, and I'm so glad that I found this! It was purely phenomenal!
Though I wish I could have seen the look on Sirius's face (his reaction, y'know?) when he found out that Harry was seeing Draco, I think you covered most of my other needs ^_^ This was very well written, btw! FAB!
When you mentioned how Lucius's campaign was progressing, and his ideas for muggleborns and the likes, I just slapped my hand over my forehead and groaned, "Hello, Hitler!" lol. I seriously thank you for not getting us too heavily involved with Lucius's affairs. The story was perfect without it.
Now, lets move on to your side characters. Mike was a DOLL. Loved him immensely! Tim was positively normal, but I still love the guy. Mrs. Cooper reminded me so much of a muggle, **-hag, gossipy version of Mrs. Weasley that I couldn't help but love her =D
I really loved the significance of the red woolen mittens. It gave the story an incredibly nice touch. Kind of like the pink ribbon in Nathaniel Hawthorne's "Young Goodman Brown". Only, I think I liked this one more, just because you referred back to it in the end.
Though I would love to read a sequel for this story, it honestly doesn't need one. It's fab just as it is.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WRITING SUCH AN INCREDIBLE FIC! "Welcome To The Real World" is a story that I will definitely be reading again.

Edward Evans 2009-05-02 . chapter 14Wow This was great really fantastic and so sweet. Thanks for taking the time to write this. It was done really well a good mix of humor and drama. It's just so simply sweet and perfect not too much of anything but really the perfect amount. Nothing was too OOC and nothing was too over the top but things also weren't dull and boring. I just love the perfect balance you made. I don't think I'm making much sense but just know I really liked it. |
J 2009-04-17 . chapter 14 GREAT story. It's been a very pleasurable read, and you did so much while keeping the characters away from the cliches of a lot of other fanfiction. |
archblackmage 2009-04-17 . chapter 14great story, very heart warming and enjoyable. |
matt didier, chicago il 2009-04-10 . chapter 13 miss lizard queen, i don't know if you'll even receive this anymore, but i have to tell you how much this story meant to me when i first read it, as you were writing it, when i was an awkward oversize gap-sweatshirt gay boy in the suburbs of chicago, and now again these last three days as i've been so angry over this lover i had that left me that i needed to read something that would make me giggle again, with a feeling of what is possible. i'm six years older, and you're six years older, and the thing that always fascinated me about the fanfic girls was how little i knew about you, ever, and how you could create these elegant, beautiful truths in semi-secret and in anonymity. you're a wonderful person wherever you are, and thank you. |
 lazybeth 2009-04-07 . chapter 14great story! enjoyed it. :) |
