I have recently read this heart-welling saga by V.C Andrews, and I'm surprised you could pull off such a magnificient piece of writing without copying her storyline, yet not stray away from the point either. I am a junior that takes AP classes and rarely have I seen literature as grasping as this, I guess what I'm trying to say is...good job!

Very sad. Don't usually go for songfics, but I really did like this one. Perhaps a full-fledged fic could be made from this concept? There is a big gap between Fallen Hearts and Gates of Paradise.
