I haven't read a Buffy fanfic in a while, but you know how, every now and then, you get that craving? Anyway, this was just the thing. Beautifully plotted, spot on with character and dialogue, just sentimental enough for a snowy night almost fours after Sunnydale sank into the earth forever. Thanks so much for writing it, and for the gift of a little Tara.

I liked it. It was good. It would have been better with more Oz but...this was really good. In character and everything, I felt.

This was a FANTASTIC story! I really liked it and cannot wait to read more of your stories!

The other Tara was so cool, I almost sorry she couldn't stay. But then, she and Willow would probably be fighting over Marnie...
Great ending to a great story

this is a great story. great plot and very well executed and written. well done.

“Angel is attacked by members of the Order of Aurelius,” Giles mused. “Meantime, Tara is brought through a portal from a world in which the Master rose to power.”
“Can’t say I like the coincidence,” said Buffy.
“Are-are you guys thinking that maybe someone’s trying to bring the Master back here so he can, like, give our world a makeover like Tara’s?” Willow asked. She looked not at all happy.
“I’m coming out firmly against that plan,” said Xander.
Giles removed his glasses. “It is, unfortunately, as good a working theory as we’re likely to get.”
“Sincerely not enthused,” stated Buffy. “So, all we have to do is seal the portal, right?”
“Absolutely.” Giles put his glasses back on. “Just as soon as we ascertain what sort of portal it is, how it was created, how to safely close it, and what might have come and gone through it in the meantime.”
“Just the little things,” muttered Xander.
“It’s very disturbing,” said Anya. “Who knows what kinds of weird, creepy, fluffy things could be hip-hopping all over Sunnydale by now?”

This is the BEST written part of the whole chapter. Everyone was spot on.

Wow! Good, and *very* interesting!

What an absolutely perfect ending! I love the trails, "but that's another tale", and would most especially love a one-shot about how things turned out in the alternate universe. In this one, it'd be great to have a full-story continuation, because I'd LOVE to see how Marnie deals with vampires and such, when she was so kick-** and loyal in the alternate universe. And she's such an interesting character!

That was the fourth great aspect that you've brought to this story: you had wonderful writing, stumbling a little on the fight scenes (in terms of flow, I thought) but obviously giving them your best and getting better every time; you had a great grasp on the characters - both those we know and love, and those altered by a seperate history; and you did wonderful settings and had a great plot - both integral, key points; but it must be added that your 'new' characters were superbly laid out: excellent backstory, wonderful weave with the vampire there, and the new Slayer (I thought you captured their strengths and their weaknesses particularly well), and such extra characters are Marnie, who you did a lot with without many words at all. I have this wonderful picture of her in my mind, and again, would LOVE to see how things turned out.

Great story, and I'm going to both author alert you and place it under "favourites". I'll also check out what else you've written, and maybe your favourite pages, too.
