hmm did kenshin kill his family? oh by the way I love the story. normally I hate fics that are taken from an anime that doesnt take place in a highschool and then put in one but I really like this one. And normally Kaoru but she is fun in this story ^_^

Hi, I've just read all 19 chapters over the weekend and thought it was wonderful. You continuously surprised me within the story, steering away of a lot of the cliches used in other Ruroken stories. And, although to me, Kenshin and Kaoru belong together, I couldn't help but smiling when Okita *finally* asked Kenshin on a date.

Given the amount of time that's passed, I'm assuming that the sequel has been put on hold. But please know that I will be looking forward to reading it if you decide to dust off the idea.

This was a great story, good use of suspense. I have taken root in front of my computer (much to the annoyance of the family members who wanted to use it).
I like the switches between personalities, especially the conversation in Chapter 7, where Aya and Rurouni were practically interrupting each other.
Battousai was well-done as well. I like the painting and description in Chapter 7, and the Okita-Battousai confrontation in Chapter 15. I really liked how you tied words in Chapters 7 and 15 together. Two things, though.I was wondering why he was speaking, when Aya had said he was silent. And the whole talking down seemed a tad anticlimatic.
Oh, and yay Shinta!
I was going to mention Sybil, in case you haven't heard of her, but you have, so... I won't.
Have you read the book "Not Without My Daughter"? I have. It's good. I haven't seen the movie, though.
Let's see... If I mentioned everything else I liked/wanted to comment on in this story, then not only would I have to re-read everything (I will eventually, but I should probably get off the computer before I come to bodily harm), but I'd use up a lot of time and space in the review box-thingie, and I'm not even sure if you read reviews from long-finished stories. So.
Anyway, I really liked this, and I hope that you don't decide you hate your ideas for "Life Happened", and don't totally peter out on "My Life". That said, have a *great* week! Ja ne!
