"And Aredhel, the clever child that she was, had hidden *very* well.

Of course she had hidden well. He had, after all, taught her himself."

*snort* Even when Celegorm is impressed with someone else, he retains his arrogance.

I love stories with the three Cs as children. I guess I want to redeem them or something. Celegorm and Aredhel are utterly adorable here.

abuseFirst: How cute!! I love that you worked a Valar into the fic.

Second: Yippee! I was waiting rather impatiently for you to right something new besides A Father's Wish, though I really love that fic too.

abuseNice development in Celegorm's character. Soon to become one of the greatest hunters of Aman and Middle-Earth, he can't even find Aredhel yet. I like it. And a story that touches on a Fëanorion without angst! Well I never...

abuseThat was so cute! I love it! Little Aredhel is so clever, and poor Celegorm - outwitted by her! And Orome - you did him so well. Great job!

abuseThat was very sweet! And Oromë was wonderful! I knew Celegorm was close to him, but I never gave it a thought how it could have begun. Well, this is as good an explanation as any -- and highly imaginative.

abuseWhat a delightful little story! Aredhel, present all the time, even if she isn't visible, Celegorm, with all the makings of the great hunter he will become, (but just not clever enough to outwit a smart girl without help...), and Orome, who knows precisely what to do to restore Celegorm's self-confidence, as a Vala should.

abuseOh wow. This is splendid. Your portrayl of Celegorm and Aredhel as children is wonderful. Their innocence here really accents the tradgedies they are both to face later in life. The interaction between Celegorm and Aldaron was very well done. Celegorm had just the right amount of childish confidence in his replies, and the slight amusement to Aldaron's replies was great. Even in such a short story, you managed to portray them as 'real' characters, with distinct traits/personalities, etc. Splendid work.

PS: Would you be so kind as to email me the address for the Hennuth Annun Fanfiction site? I would *really* appreciate it. Thanks!

abuseThis was an absolute delight! Aredhel's cleverness, Celegorm's determination and his suspicions of this unknown Vala's abilities, and the Vala's simultaneous amusement and affection are all shown beautifully. What a pity that Celegorm and Aredhel had to grow up in the end, and that two lives filled with such joy at the beginning should come to such ruin in the end.

abuseAww! They are so cute! Strange to read such a happy and delighful story about two characters who will fall so horribly. Wish they could have stayed in Valinor. Will there be more of this story?

abuseCute, very cute. I can just see Aredhel sumberged, floating away, laughing to herself. A very nice beginning to the great friendship between Celegorm and Orome. Now Celegorm has to rush through the water and yank Aredhel out by the ears!

abusePlease continue, I like where this is going!
Oh yes, the girl is smarter than the boy, as always! ;p And younger, too. *clicks tongue* Celegorm had better step on it if he hopes to ever catch up!
