Their innocence here really accents the tradgedies they are both to face later in life. The interaction between Celegorm and Aldaron was very well done. Celegorm had just the right amount of childish confidence in his replies, and the slight amusement to Aldaron's replies was great. Even in such a short story, you managed to portray them as 'real' characters, with distinct traits/personalities, etc. Splendid work. Peace, Love, and Fluffy Bunnies! Aredhel's cleverness, Celegorm's determination and his suspicions of this unknown Vala's abilities, and the Vala's simultaneous amusement and affection are all shown beautifully. What a pity that Celegorm and Aredhel had to grow up in the end, and that two lives filled with such joy at the beginning should come to such ruin in the end.
