Ah, that was very interseting. I like the concept for the story. Also, if you were supposed to use red as many times as you could, you did a great job of it! From her pink finger, to her bleeding, it was all very good, and you did a wonderful job.

Hey! Thought I would drop by and browse. This was absolutely perfect. The formal tone suits her aristocratic background and the tenderness with which she speaks is almost palpable.

What I loved best about this, methinks, is little Inuyasha! So petulant and possessive. I can see the seeds of future expletive-spewing, obstinacy, and general temerity from his few lines. ^_^

On a mythological note, it's very nice when someone takes the time to do the research. The history of the hi-nezumi seems rather interesting. I'm sure Takahashi-sama thought about it when she wrote in that little detail.

Loved the reference to Eos/Aurora. "rosy fingers of dawn" eh? Straight from Homer. It was a nice surprise. ^_^ And lol on the Kassandra note from your e-mail. I've only read The Mists of Avalon from her. It wasn't amazing, but interesting nevertheless.

Beautiful imagery! I'm always interested in Inuyasha's mother and father, I wish we could get more about them. I think you captured the emotions wonderfully - such a strong woman she must have been to face the things she did. I like the idea of the fire-rat clothing being a gift from her. This is a lovely little story.
