Very clever! One wonders how it would've backfired on him if she'd pledged to stay with him... then forgot once he took her out!

One tiny quibble. If she could barely stand in the Oubliette, then how is it he was standing and moving with such ease? If he was bending space, you might want to mention it. Stood out to me is all.
