What a wonderful and excellent insight into Piccolo's character and his father/son relationship with Gohan. I loved how he was reflecting on all the times he spent with Gohan, training him, protecting him, keeping an eye on him, how Gohan eventually grew up and how proud he was of Gohan. Just like a parent.

Candyland, my newfound obsession with DBZ is ALL your fault! I saw that fic of Videl and Chichi of yours and then BAM! I'm stuck reading ALL of your DBZ fics!

Great job though. I can see you did this AWHILE back but I love it. Piccolo, Gohan, and Goten are my ALL-TIME favs! (for this fandom at least...)

The transition of Piccolo from evil incarnate to protective mentor and father figure for Gohan is one of the best parts of Dragonball. I think you did it great justice in this little story.
