Amazingly good fic, the most complete sounding one, and proffessional one, I have read so far on this site. Although it is an AU fic, with an AU that kinda rubbed me as too improbable, I still liked it; because if you stick to the classic Evangelion universe, noone would ever be happy (unless you count the Evangelion:Angelic Days mangas and Episode 26 of the anime series ;mehboth of them are AU scenarios anyways) Suffice it to say, your fic is incredibly good and tasty and I want to EAT IT ALL UP! M! (ok freaky weird part over :) ) But seriously your fic is amazing, and the only way to achieve measurable happiness in an Evangelion fic is AU, and you pull off your AU with perfect grammar, and a good feel for the characters, within reason of their slightly whacked-up universe.

You better get cracking on the next chapter, even though its an epilogue, and then maybe expand this fic somehow, like a P3I AU; although they are done to death, I have a feeling you could pull it off nicely.

Arm-Slave: You probably didn't notice but Rei said that humans weren't supposed to be able to reject Instrumentality. The "humans can come back if they can imagine themselves in their own hearts" in other words, reestablishing their own AT fields, only came about because Shinji wanted it. Rei said that was a mistake and she wouldn't give them that choice again. Which makes sense, since the Intrumentality is supposed to be the "ultimate, perfect form of mankind". Individual humans with S2 organs would just be a way to give humans a few more evolutionary possibilities... but it would be a far cry from the "perfect form". So I guess it would make Shinji happy but still allow Intrumentality to proceed the way it was meant to.

Alright, good end. My only beef is what Rei said about everyone else only having the first two options. If I remember correctly, Yui had said that all lifeforms could return to their original state if they could imagine themselves in their heart so this goes against that idea. The fact that the offspring Shinji and Asuka have will be the only humans left, and that they'll be left to die alone or inbreed when Asuka and Shinji kick the can kind of disturbs me.

ARRG! I'm so confused, though the third part did help explain it a little, but if posible can you reply and explain it to me. Also, you seem to know way more about Evangelion than I do, loath you for that (not really), so could you possibly also try to explain the last to episodes of the series to me? If either takes up to much time then just don't do it, but if you have the chance please explain. May the blessings of Rei Ayanami be upon you.
