I just got through reading the first three chapters and had to review.
They were wonderful.

I read this story first a very long time ago, but I still come back to it from time to time, and while I didn't have an account when I first enjoyed it, I thought it was finally time to say thank you.

This was one of my first experiences with fanfiction, and it left me with a very good impression. I can say without doubt that this story made James my favorite Harry Potter character, despite almost a nonexistant role in the actual books.

Even though I keep trying to recapture the joy I got several summers ago from reading this work, after Order of the Phoenix came out and I was mesmerized with the brief glance of James, Sirius, Lily and the whole crew, I know it won't happen again. No other fanfiction can compare.

This chapter was in NO way cliche I have never had a baby but i've seen a baby about 15 min out of the womb and what you dicribed was what i saw in the eyes of the parents. you did a god job.

U were right. I had to cry too.. I can't even really describe in words why, but i think, that when you go start reading such a great story, you begin to love it more by every new chapter you read. I was upset when I finished the final Chapter of youre story and the final Harry Potter Book. I such a funny thing, that such a book or story can affect you like that. Because you simply luv it ^^ You are also a great writer! I really can say, that this is the best Marauder Story i've ever seen. Just Great.!

Oh, that was a brilliant and funny chapter. I thoroughly enjoyed it *grins* I thought something was going to happen when Sirius did that weird hand thing. Bravo!

Hey, I stumbled across this story a few days ago and since starting it have been unable to tear myself away!

It definately improved as you went along and I think you realise that. There were still a couple of really small problems with grammar, I'm not trying to be nitpicky it's just something I pick up on because I'm weird!

But I absolutely loved this story, you wrote it beautifully and really did well at bringing the characters to life as the story developed. The ending made me choke up I have to admit - especially as I knew how it would end!

i want to say something meaningful and memorable..but honestly, nothing i can think of measures up to the story that i just read; it took me a while to finish it, but it was worth every minute spent sobbing in the library at school or in my office attempting to hide my tears from family and friends...stories like this are extremely hard to find and i count myself lucky that i did. thank you for writing and posting it.

Hey...So it is the somthingth of August 2005. I just finished The marauder chronicals.
I have been reading HP fics for coming up to two years now and in that time Sirius and James have quickly become my favorite characters, I think that is the case for many people. I just wanted to say a few things to you, (I wish you could send messages to the authors of proper books don't you?)
1. I cried when you killed off James. Probably not the most original comment in the world but true none the less, and i have to tell you i don't cry easily. I have never had the balls to kill off a beloved character, for that i commend you.
2. I loved sirius, and James' relationship, they really sounded like they were best friends, you read so many fics that really tone down their closeness acting like they were little more than classmates, but i think all of us hard core Sirius and James lovers know that it isn't true.
3. i loved how much feeling you have put into this story, you cared about you're characters and you're plot and it shows. I am by no means saying that you write the best prose out their, that would be rash of me, i have read fics that are written better, and i beg you not to take offence i am cronically honest, it's a flaw, but i don't think there are many fics out there written with more feeling or more care.
Congratulations, you made a cynical b*h cry and believe if only for a short while that all you really need is love.
