I seriously apologize for that stuff about you being dead and all; I really thought that you had passed on. I had no idea you were in the Army! Wow! It, uh, looks like I have some explaining to do. I honestly have no idea that almost a year later people would still be interested int this story. Well, for those loyal readers who continue to check for updates, I thank you and I believe I owe you an explanation. July 15, 2003 I left to join the Army. As you can imagine I have been pretty busy since then. After 16 weeks of advanced individual training I was stationed at Fort Hood, TX for four months before being dployed to Baghdad, Iraq. Unfortunatly, I have very little access to computers so I have been unable to continue this story. So, contrary to popular opinion, I am not dead and don't plan on dying anytime soon. However, as much as I hate to say it, I have more important things to worry about besides a story... like bullts flying over my head, RPGs getting shot at me(and I don't mean role playing games), and IEDs(improvised explosive devices) going off every freakin' day! I am at a place now where I have access to computers so I WILL try to upate when I can. I can't say when and I can't say how often, but I can say that your support has inspired me to finish this story. Thank you, readers, for your dedication and I will to my best to complete this story soon.

For those who didn't read the stuff below the synopsis of the story, this damn fic hasn't been touched in 11 months. If you've read my other message, you might be inclined to agree that Kettch is in fact deceased. So, this is my advice, which I will not be offended if you do not follow: give up on this fic... and pray for the repose of the soul of Kettch, wherever he may be...
P.S. surely Aragorn doesn't think he can defeat Voldemort, does he? I'm sure it will end up being Gandalf who beats Voldemort, and of course, as we all know, Frodo destroys the Ring and kills Sauron
