That's my girl! The entire Scooby gang, including Giles, reduced to quivering bundles of guilt in less than five minutes. You tell 'em, Dawnie! *LOL*

There were so many good scenes in this chapter that I don't know where to start, but the quiet, affectionate moments between Spike and Dawn, and later on Spike and Tara (I miss her!) were beautifully written. And the scene with Spike as Wal-Mart robbing Master Vampire with his minions Buffy and Dawn was absolutely hilarious. This is starting to become another great collaboration story from the two of you!

The only thing in this chapter that felt a little bit unrealistic was Spike suspecting a Giles/Buffy romance. Surely he wouldn't be that much of a fool? Giles may be an attractive man, but it has always been crystal clear that he and Buffy have a father/daughter relationship. Even so, it was downright mean of the Scooby gang to make fun of Spike's feelings, not to mention laughing at him. *growl*

Great to see more chapters finally up! I like where you're headed. More Spike/Tara perhaps? Since it seemed like they bonded. Plus, I like it when Dawn's fiesty. I'll be waiting for more!

The story is great as alwas. I followed your last colaboration also and loved it. Its good to have everyone in such a confined space, kind of forces confrontation etc, but it also limits the amount of hanky panky that can go on. Everyone is being much to accepting of spike in the stiuation, he should at the very least be getting dirty looks from xander and giles. But all in all i think its going great, keep it up, soon!

Yay! This is shaping up to be a really intersting story. Plus, Mt. Rushmore! The best tourist attraction in South Dakota, aside from the Crazy Horse memorial. And hey from Cali, the most direct route to Rushmore would be through Yellowstone as well. Bears and gysers, two really cool things that you don't see any where else.
