I thought I'd reviewed this wonderful story before. I've recommended it to several other people, two of whom have reviewed it. I've read and reread it...It's a funny and clever sendup of slashfics, with some sweet insights into the relationship of Faramir & Eowyn. Faramir's anger at the concept of being paired with those he'd never met, like Haldir, Isildur, Sauron, is hilarious; especially since I've seen a number of Faramir/Haldir slash pairings...

And the ending is marvelous.

I can't believe I never reviewed this story. And I can't believe that Kielle will never read this review. She passed away yesterday, after a short battle with cancer. She was 33, mourned by her husband and family and, from what I could see in her LJ, hundreds of cyber-friends. I hope her stories will stay here and elsewhere, tribute to a talented writer who was taken from us far too soon.

That... wha... what the hell was that?! I'll tell you what: It was the best!! Oh, my god. This has got to be one of the best LotR fics I have ever read; not only is it slash (argh! Me love slash! I need it like I need sushi and oxygen) but it's always wonderfully-writen and also funny without being just plain crazy (not that I have anything against those insane!fics, but it's good to see a "smart" humor story every once in a while ^_^). Keep up the good work!!
