Hmmm...it starts out springly (my gwad, is that a word?)-little light humor, love the verbal pokings between Sev and Sirius. Mental picture of Albus looking down upon the corpse, going, "oh, dear." *cackle*

But then, reality comes to forefront-the deceased wasn't there for a cup of tea w/ Sev, but more likely to kill him. What a depressing thought, Sev being aware of his limited time left to live.

Any chance at spilling the beans on Sirius getting murderous on Malfoy? pretty please?

One little inconsistency-at beginning of story, about 15 lines down when Sirius says something about a "soulless wonder" and Sev retorts "...you say that as though it's a good thing." Shoudnl't that line read "...as though it's a *bad* thing"?

Keep the chpts coming. You can't dangle a mystery like this and just abandon it! LOL.

p.s. just make sure Sev is breathing still. May I be biased, (fell rather hard over Alan Rickman, mind you) but Snape has to be my fav, Death Eater or no Death Eater.

I agree with you that Rickman would make a terrific Sherlock Holmes, even better than Snape, but this surely is a matter of taste.

Brilliant! Brilliant! Severus and Sirius together had me rolling on the floor in hysterics! I LOVE the way they trade barbs and insults, and their subtly portrayed mutual respect for each other!

Minerva is wonderfully captured as always. Easily a match for her two bad boys. And Dumbledore is a delight. I can't wait to see Hermione's roll in this story too, she's clever and sharp enough to hold her own in this company!
