I have to tell you, this little seven-chapter story was more entertaining and exciting than pretty much all the EU books put together. Mainly because you have Thrawn (Zahn's finest creation, but with a much better-written, fleshed-out character here), Jedi action, the remarkably on-spot Vong, and the trusty sidekick who managed to serve as comic relief and the noble heart of his story at the same time. Throw in a nifty little plot with plenty of twists and turns, and you've got yourself a mighty fine piece of fiction.

I was very impressed with this story. The grammar and structure needs a bit of tidying up, but when the story itself is so amazing, those little details fade into near-insignificance. Love it!

Thrawn is just perfectly done. I don't know enough about her to know if the same is true of Vergere. She's very believable, at any rate. But Thrawn...well done, indeed.

WOW! This story is just too great for my words to describe it. You have captured the true essance of the Grand Admiral character and the story is so smooth and well conected. The accurcy of the Star Wars galaxy is absoluty stunning. I'd have to say, some of the best Fan fic I ever read. I think you should even submit this to Mr Lucas. Two thumbs up all the way!

This is the first time I saw SW fanfics! However, I knew well about Thrawn (and so little about the Vongs!) Your story is brilliant and exciting! I hope to see more about your works!

One word: Wow. Those people at Bantam are absolute idiots. This is by far one of THE best SW stories I have ever read, including the pro novels. Thrawn is one of my favorite characters and you have the characterization perfectly. Now I have to go read the second part...

Yeah, I know, but when I started this thing I only had Vector Prime, Onslaught and Rogue Planet to work from. When the other books came out I had already gone too far to restructure the story. After it's finished I might try to go back and make alterations, but that's too far in the future to make any detailed plans.
