It's all about real love, real pain and simply real life.
Every sentence in your stories is so poetic, and the way you put them together makes you worth every review of admiration and praise.
Those words of broken people are very touching and shocking, because they pass the screen and get to the heart.
You are very talented. Thanks for writing such dreadful-wonderful fanfics about this pairing.

well that was just beautiful. i love reading fic where either Draco or Harry are damaged beyond repair - and you have pulled it off nicely.

How incredibly sad, denial is a powerful weapon. You could lose yourself in the dark recesses of your mind and never notice.

Absolutely heart shattering utterly beautiful, poignant. this story could make me cry time after time. It is these angst tragic heart wrenching stories that gets lodged in my memories making me feeling completely wretched on the inside.you've done such a good job on writing this story it is disgustingly beautiful i cannot even convey with words how i feel about this story. Its these stories that I try to stay away from but like draco addicted to drugs im addicted to these horribly disturbing yet beautiful stories. The ending is so perfect but Im dying to know more history between draco and harry. Is there a chance for a prequel?? Please please please!

I read this story quite a while ago and then someone recently mentioned it causing me to re-read it, so I'm leaving you the review now that I should have left back then. I must say, this has got to be the only rentboy fic that I've ever really liked or seemed plausible to me.

You tidily manage to avoid all the problems of a rentboy plot (i.e. turning Character A into a prositute amounts to nothing more than a convienient deux ex machina to force them into having copious amounts of skilled, acrobatic sex with Character B) by instead focusing on the grim reality of Draco's life, making me feel a lot of compassion for him instead of being disgusted with him and the current HP John du jour. (Standard rentboy plot = "I've been abused and raped and no longer have feelings of self-worth, and yet I secretly enjoy having sex with jaded!paying customer!Harry/Ron/Snape! It's only a matter of time before he falls in love with me and takes me away from this terrible life!") From the gritty description of the bathroom to the old man's careless insult after their transaction is over to the final image of Draco's hair falling out when he's in the alley, you make the situation a vivid reality in the reader's mind. Draco's hopelessness can be FELT without him ever actually having to say it.

As much as I too would LOVE to see a sequel with a happy ending, the ending to this one is so powerful that a sequel might lessen its impact. Even still, I've got to ask: Harry DOES at least try to help Draco (take him to a doctor? something?) after their conversation at the end, right? -_-

it's positively beautiful - well written, angsty, confused, hauntingly sad - incredible really. but... ouch. it seems sort of... unfinished. but, i suppose that it was meant to be that way. i think that we've all got this twisted little idea in our heads, something called "happily ever after". it's like, if nothing is truly resolved in the end, then it's really not the end... is it? that's such a positively flawed logic. in my opinion, a story with a sad ending, a lonely ending is, well, simply put, a realistic story, a likely story, a true story - even if it makes us wonder if we'll ever smile again and have it reach our eyes, or laugh again from deep within our hearts, or... love again without wondering if it's gonna be this way next week. or maybe i'm just an incredibly pessimistic thirteen year old girl. i can't really think of anything to improve, even though it says that's what i'm suppose to do under the little lavender box that says "submit review" on it. but then again, we aren't exactly the type to do what we're told, are we?
