That is what I call a good fic!

I'd like to see where you'd go with this, but it works fine as a standalone. I like Sam realizing what he's going to have to do, and Frodo getting schizophrenic.

I was such a lazybone. I read but I never reviewed. But it has long changed. I now read and review. But I cannot believe I've never reviewed your stories which I have read in years past and loved them immensely. Including this. And I might be one of the many people who will weep when you decide not to post here anymore.

great story. I once thought of writing about what would happen if Sam killed Gollum, but I never wrote it. Well done.

PS I agree with what you said about slash fiction - I'm not homophobic (how can I be? I'm bisexual myself.) but it's a shame if two people can't love each other without sex being involved. It's not what the late great Tolkien would have wanted.

that was awsome. i really think you should keep going with this one. i enjoyed very much, you described the characters so well, i could actually see Frodo and Sam hanging from the edge of Mount Doom. i thought that you brought on the Gollum personality in Frodo a little too early. but otherwise, that was great! keep going it was much promise.

Seriously, though, I think this is fitting by itself, but if you wrote a continuation I would read it in a heartbeat.

That was a good ending but one thing I thought you should have done is, in the book it said that when Frodo put on the ring Sauron was alerted and set all his power on the mountain so I thought at least some Nazgul should have been there or something like that. Very good! I'm glad Frodo didn't have to lose a finger but he died? Well I think he did, it didn't say for sure but... Oh well I think that should be the end. But what do I know?

Oh wow! What a powerful story! I've been reading through several of your stories lately (though i haven't reviewed them all) and you are an amazing writer! it's amazing what kind of powerful emotions you can display so clearly in your stories!

About the ending for this one-i'm really not sure. I would like more, but then again this was a pretty good ending too. I guess it just depends on where you want to go with it.

Oh, how I loved this story too! (you are SO the hotness!) I liked how Frodo reffered to Sam as a creature even though it wasn't written dialouge. Your discripitions are supurb. I would tell ya more of what I liked but I have about 1 minute to go on this computer (I'm at the library) soooo...Peace Out! -
