Excellent story! You painted a sad image of Jack alone, still reaching out to the best friend he probably ever had.

Cleverly written! I like the way what has happened, not only to SG-1 but the world too, can be pieced together from Jack's mixed up thoughts. The characterisation is great: he's old & confused, yet still Jack.

It's very sad to see Jack alone & going out with "A Whimper". The end with Daniel's grave inscription caps it off & brings a tear to the eye.

This is good. Reader can feel the character's confusion of being old and in a world that has changed for both good and bad.

Hi - that was really kinda sweet in a sad way. Nice, though, I enjoyed it. It was just long enough to get me a little misty-eyed!
