Throw in a little overt text (you don't have to write any actual romantic scenes, but you could have the relationship change and everyone acknowledge it) and make me happy, yes? I appreciate how you had Buffy disapprove of Dawn's fondness for Britney Spears. It is so reminiscent of her own early days of torturing Giles with her "noise".
