wow..FABULOUS!! KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK!

This was an _impressive_ story. Every word was chillingly beautiful, poignant, and evocative. I loved every second of reading it, taking into consideration the guilt of not working on my essay (due tomorrow... meep!). The entire story was riveting, from the description of the city to when Yugi regained his memories.
I must admit, however, I am still confused about the ending. So Yugi is the last human in his sector. Each sector has a human... overseeing it? o.O? Yugi created that game, was it... and then was somehow brought back by his grandfather to be a player in the game? Was it to teach Yugi a lesson?
Maybe if I reread the ending it will make a bit more sense. Even with the confusing ending, I loved it. Your writing is some of the best I've ever seen. Though I didn't notice it (I'm still learning how to read analytically, I'm in 7th grade and we've just begun dissecting books), I loved the allusion to life with the eye motif. ^_^ Very pretty, as was your entire story. Scrumtrillescent. (Also a good thing, don't worry. ^_^)

This is a beautiful, haunting story... I love the entire idea. ^_^ (And of course, the long chapters are wonderful.) I'm only half way through the completed version (let's hear it for marathon-reading), but I'm addicted. This is one of the most innovative ideas I've ever seen, and you've pulled it off marvelously. Congrats, you've converted me to off-the-wall AUs. ^_^ Great, great story! Positively _spifftastic!_ ('tis a good thing, trust me... ^_^)

I'm kinda late reading this, so I'll just review like this was just posted or something.
1. Seto is called "Seahorse" in Kanji because in Chinese, "seahorse" is pronounced like very much like "kaiba" (w/out the "k").
2. Yami-no-Malik(-sama) is a little strange, but he is most certainly not "mad". He has every right to be indignent!

*cries* Brilliant. This fic will continue to stay with me forever. He was _It_. Unbelievable. The humans themselves brought upon themselves this dream reality. Yami sacrificed himself and everyone they knew to win against - himself. The human race.

Wow. This is one of the best fanfiction I've ever read. Excellent. I love AUs and Fantasy-genre type fics. And this was just magnificent. Poor little Yuugi. He's got it rough, doesn't he?

I cried. Poor Yami. *tears welling up* So I like Yami... so sue me. Anyway, I love how everything was incorparated into the story, like the Game and of course, all the characters as well. Ryou was interesting. Yeah. That's the word.

I'd leave a longer review but I have the tendency to rant a little. Eh. Sorry.

Just wanted to drop a review (they're always pleasant, even if I have sent an e-mail already). Anyway, just letting you know that things are a little less hectic now. The reasons why I was so bz were mainly midterms (you will learn to hate that time of the year in about, oh, a couple of months) and I was doing my NLS waterpark. I'm officially a waterpark lifeguard. and back on the job as a betareader. Just don't send TOO much stuff my way. Looking forward to betaing more of Blood Dragon. Btw, nice title. ^^

Okay, I'm gonna review this chapter cuz the next is an Authoress Note. ..(^^) Anyways, I really luved the ending. Very.. Deep, kinda. I felt like I was reading an Anne Rice novel. (She's this authoress of vampire stories; she's one of my fave novel-writers.) I truly enjoyed reading your story, becasue it truly captivated my attention.
