Loved this. You have caught the very essence of Hermoine and Severus's character and voices . Funny and romantic both, good stuff. (Even without the exclamation marks I, with difficulty, avoided. )

This is one of the best characterizations of Hermione that I've ever read. You managed to make her 'grown-up' without letting go of the things that are essentially Hermione. Not too much 'makeover' or even too much spent on girly details that we all love to read but aren't really necessary. Very good explanation of her obsession with work and complete neglect of her personal life. Not too much Harry and Ron interference (after all, the story isn't about *them*) and really good passage of time without making it seem as if you're skipping ahead to 'get to the good part' of the story. Excellent grammar and spelling (that sounds a bit ridiculous but I *hate* it when good stories don't pay enough attention to that sort of thing).

Again, *very* well done. I really wanted to read 'The Buried Life' actually, but I haven't got time for that just now, so I did quick detour over to this little story and I'm very glad I did. I'll be back later to read 'Buried' when I've got time.

That was great. Severus and Hermione do make quite the pair.

I've enjoyed this a couple times over the years. It's sweet and amusing.

"If it had been a movie, or one of Mum’s romance novels, that’s exactly how the scene would have played. But Severus Snape is hardly your typical romantic lead, and he didn’t say a word."

Obviously, Hermione hasn't been reading awesome fanfic like... well, this! or she'd know that Snape does actually manage to pull off "romantic lead" fairly well.

I really enjoyed this story -- plus, it made me squeal like the little girl I am when it turned out at the end that they'd gotten married. Huzzah!
