What a amazing story, Loved it all. I like the fact you haven't given Harry and Ginny back their powers, because even though it'd be romantic and perfect, it would be as you said, unrealistic, which I think is the real selling point of this fic. Great Work!

Tout d'abord, je vais répéter ce que j'ai écris sur les deux morceaux de traduction (ou plutôt sur les deux histoires chez Lyra Granger, plus 3 autres chapitres ailleurs). C'est une histoire très bien écrite, avec certains concepts plutôt originaux et que j'aime (comme les jewel-right (bien que repris de qqun d'autre, non ?) et autres), notamment parce qu'ls sont bien intégrés.
En fait, c'était tellement bien que je n'ai pas pu m'empêcher de lire la suite ici. Bon, c'est anglais, et moi je ne suis pas très doué dans cette langue, alors on peut dire qu'un paquet de détails me sont passés à côté. Je n'avais pas compris que dans le prologue certains morceaux étaient des souvenirs de Harry (enfin, je ne me trompe pas, non ?), je n'ai compris ça que vers la fin :S C'est pour ça que, dès que la traduction sera continuée, et publiée, je me jetterai dessus, histoire de bien saisir ce qui m'avait échappé ;)
Bref, j'ai beaucoup aimé. Bravo ;)

Okay, first of all, I love your story. Secondly, I've been wondering for a long time about two things. First, what is Mrs. Mutt's favorite name for St. John? And, second, whay can't Harry fly anymore? I mean if the broom is charmed to fly, shouldn't flying it be just like driving a car?

First let me say that I first came here in search of a good love story between Ginny and Harry. The series didn't give much elaboration on their relationship, which was disappointing. I'm glad I found your story.

I'm didn't review your story chapter by chapter, I always prefer to wait after I'm done and then give my review as a whole. I must say, I was very impressed. I myself am an aspiring novelist, although I've spent half the decade obssessing over research. This being the case, I have a lot of experience in writing, although I plan to improve on it in college.

Ginny's Gift was beautifully written. Sticking true to Harry's goal in defeating Voldemorte, you were able to make Ginny and Harry's relationship seem almost like puppy love, mildly so. Like with the series itself, the themes of loss and war were integrated. I was horrified when Harry lost his powers. For a Wizard, thats probably worse than death. To lose an integral part of yourself instead of dying can really cause one to be withdrawn and traumatized, which you elaborated on in the beginng of The Long Road Home.

In The Long Road Home, the theme of sacrifice was very evident and quite daunting I must add. This time, you were able to focus more on the protagonists feelings for each other, which helped make their love even more pure and genuine. I was very worried that Harry's dream about Ginny would come true. Thankfully it didn't. Geffin proved to be quite an **. At first I did hope that Harry would get his powers back, but then I thought, why write that? Although it was something your readers hoped for, it simply could not be. There's more to life than convenience. ** happens, accomodate your life, and it will turn out okay.

Professionally, on a scale of 1 to 5, I give you a 4. While the plot is exceptionally good, so is your writing skills. On a few rare occasions I did notice some errors, yet most writers aren't the best. Even Stephen King could find something to improve on. No matter how much of a master you are, there will always be something you can improve on, which is why I don't consider writing a competition. I always like to help out my fellow writers and give them tips and advice. It is rare, but its not uncommon for two people to write a novel together, as I noticed Maid Marian helped you out alot. All-in-all, if you continue writing, and continue to improve, you can publish. I don't know about you, but I enjoyed your story so much, I thought it could be canonized to be in the series itself, albeit unofficial and having an alternate storyline. But that won't be possible. Rowling has expressly stated that she didn't want others writing other stories in Harry Potter's universe like what they did with Star Wars.
