oh god! even a few years later this chapter is still damned funny! Especially with Gimli running into the walls. My eyes were tearing. We time to reread the other chapters. Might even go back and read the other two we wrote.

Your writing is good and the characters are acting Tolkienish but maybe it would fit better in action adventure.

im a new reviewer, but not a new reader. its Marissa. and i love this chapter! its really good. and a good ending, i have to say. i love the meeting up with the dwarves. and the story was funny! Namarie!!

Now, you dont mind constructive criticism from a fellow writer do you? I hope not cause here i go -

Hate to be a nag, but i must say that your characterizations of Legolas and Gimli (That is G-I-M-L-I) are a little off. They talk in the old english style usually and i know that Legolas doesnt put "Hey" at the beginning of as many sentences as you have him do. Also, Legolas hates caves, and he probably wouldnt be helping Gimli explore as much as he is, he also probably wouldnt add as much insult to injury (they hypothetical type of course) as he is.

But those are just my own views and interpretations of their characters.

Anyhoo, all in all, i really like this story so far. The plot is intriguing and your style is new, i like new.

This is getting long so i'll spare all other pleasentries and just say: Congratulations on a great fic.
