magician 2009-10-15 . chapter 1 Hi there. I wanted to let you know that I recommended this story at Crack Van. If you haven't heard about CV, it's a multi-fandom site where people recommend the best of their fandom. I really enjoyed this. Sweet and humorous but also tender in how they really thought out what the other wanted/needed in their rooms.
Here's the link if you want to see the rec.

Arianna18 2009-09-22 . chapter 1Hey, Victoria, great story! I really enjoyed the decorator-type details that helped me picture the changes, and the ways you inserted the sentinel considerations, both from Jim's POV and Blair's. I have to say, I loved what you did with both rooms, and the smarm was sweet, not overdone, but still brought a tear to my eye. 'You did this for me?' Aw.
Seems ages since we last connected. I think of you often and wonder how you're doing -- very well, I hope!
All the best,

 J. Jumper 2003-03-30 . chapter 1 Being a Trading Spaces/Changing Rooms junkie, I got a real kick out of this story. The idea that Jim & Blair would be strong enough to to deal with the designers and get what they knew the other would like makes them my new heroes. |
Mac3 2002-12-12 . chapter 1I really loved this story. You did a great job with Jim and Blair's characters. This was one of the best stories I've read using the changing room premise. Keep up the great work. I'm looking forward to reading more of your works in the future. |

BAW 2002-10-04 . chapter 1 This was really good.
One little nitpick: "determinism" should be "determination." The former is a philosophical term for the idea that everything that happens has been pre-ordained and cannot be changed; that is, that free choice/will is an illusion. The latter refers to a fixed resolve to do something, despite distractions or difficulties.
Now, here's another idea: Major Crimes fields a team for "Junkyard Wars." |
Elli 2002-10-04 . chapter 1 A beautiful story. I was a little worried about reading it at first I must admit, really didn't know what to expect but from your previous fics on Fanfic.net, I knew I had to read and I'm so glad I did. This was such a wonderful fic, Blair and Jim knowing each other so well that they can design the perfect rooms for one another. Loved the way Jim went about rewiring and Blair took control, lol. You're a wonderful writer and I hope to read more of your fic soon. |
