Um... It's been a couple months since you've updated this... Are you going to finish it? Please do! Your stories are so great. You really have some interesting ideas and you weave them into a plot so well. i love the way you express Sai and Ryuuen's realtionship. A lot of people make it sappy - that seems to be a common characteristic of shounen ai, no matter who they couple is. But you describe it so tastefully... Please update soon!

Well. I like this fic. But I'm not going to finish reading it. Why?

Because the view of Seiryuu, is in my opinion, off. Seiryuu is *not* evil. He is a God and a God that is neutral. His purpose is his country Kutou, and nothing else. His pride is his people and no one else. His seishi might have been less than agreeable, but when one looks at it, they had all suffered in their own way. Kutou was ruled by a tyrant, and the tyrant ruined many lives. Amiboshi and Suboshi had their peace torn from them. Nakago watched his mother die in front of him in a waterfall of blood. Soi was sold off by her parents at a young age. I don't even want to know what happened with Tomo, since it's too frightful to even contemplate. The same for Miboshi. As for Ashitaire. he's been beaten and hated his whole life, simply because he was born into something he had no control over. They were chosen for a reason; the same why the Suzaku seishi were chosen.

I won't argue with your fic choice, since it's understandable why many people dislike the Seiryuu seishi. But there were reasons behind their choices, and there is no such thing as absolute good and evil.

That said, off to read some of your other ficcies.

I just found this (and the first part ^^) while browsing around KOTWAS's fanfic section... it only went up to chapter 6 or so on the site, so I had to come here. It's funny how I keep going through these odd periods of "must-have-Fushigi-Yuuginess", and then I come back to your stories, and they blow me away every time. This one especially. I should probably put this in a review for the first part, but I was crying. ^_^; And I'm very eager to see how this part is continued. You're an excellent author, Ryuen! Keep it up. ^^

OK, Ryu-chan, I've been flipping through your stories like a madwoman and I've hit this one with a bang. And I'm incredibly taken with this story and the whole plotline. For me, as another 19 year old, the idea of adopting a kid is as scary as hell, so for Ryuuen and Sai to do this has me flipping between great respect and worried disbelief. The first because of their willingness to take that burden is, in and of itself, very admirable. The second because, well... I know they're reincarnated seishi-adults and stuff... but it's still such a hard thing to do. However, because they are who they are, I've got faith they'll make things work.

When I first read about him, I thought Hiroki was Ashitare. Swear to Suzaku, even though Ashitare just tried to kill Sai two chapters ago, I thought that's who the kid was. Now... I have a funny feeling the boy might be Nakago. Why? Uhmm... because Kris is very bizarre and Nakago just popped into her head. And I like the innocence and hope that Hiroki had when he saw the duo - beautifully done!

All right, I think I've said as much as I can right now, Ryu-chan. You take care now, and try not to drown in work! ^_~ Luck, love, and free time!!!

Um...ok...please update this VER VERY VERY soon! It's already been 2 months since you last updated. I really like this story! It's better than the last one (no offense). What is the kid going to call Nuriko? what is the kid going to call Hotohori? And who the heck is the kid supposed to be from the book?!!! I just happen to have a hunch that it's Boushin, but I'm probably wrong. PLEASE UPDATE THE NEXT CHAPTER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!!!!! I just love your storys!!! All of them!!! I think I've read all of them...not quite sure though. PLEASE update the next chapters for your other storys! Especially the ones that have Nuriko and Hotohori as a couple! Oh yea...I finally figured out what to call myself, although it's pretty simple, and lame, but the ones that are blank are probably my reviews, but there are several other people who do that.

OMG!! It took me forever to finally get to review this, stupid school. Anyway, this is SO great so far and yes chapter one was done very tastefully. I can't wait to find out what happens next. and it may just be that i'm sick so my brain is processing right but for the life of me I can't figure out this whole situation with the seiryu, unless Hiroki is a reincarnation seiryu seishi?? Ack! I need to know! And just thinking of Sai and Ryuuen living in a house with their own little boy..It gets me all tingley inside. *nod* yes I am that sappy. And since i haven't gotten to review this story yet at all I'll tell you, the whole thing in the 3rd chapter where ryuuen tells Miaka that she will always be his sister... *sniff* I actually got all teary.
yeah so if you haven't grasped it yet, I love the story and I need to read more ASAP!

Well, where the hell have I been? I started on Chapter 4, then realized that something was missing in what I had read, then realized that I never read Chapter 3 - geez, I've been lost in space.

Anyway, this is an excellent job, Ryuen - very emotional depiction of the nerve-wracking adoption process - although Suzaku is making things pretty easy for them. Hmmmmm, Taka is pretty uptight about kids in his place, huh? I'm a little surprised since he was so great with his younger siblings in the Book - well, he's sure to loosen up when he has his own kids.

As for the Big Evil - very intriguing. I can't wait to see where this is going. Hiroki's description, though - geez, the only one he sounds like to me is Tenkou - eeeeeeeeeeee!! Either that or Inuyasha - ya know, amber eyes, silvery hair - wait, this isn't a crossover, right? ^ ~ Gotta get back to work on my stuff - talk atcha soon!

hmm...who's the kid? Sounds like Tomo to me. And aww...he's sooooo cute! "You take me home?"
