The Pokémon Elements
By Keleri
Thunder is quick,
Mouse, sheep and cat,
Poison is deadly,
Snake, sludge and bat.
Fire is proud,
Wolf, dragon and horse,
Steel is artificial,
Machinery, of course.
Water is tireless,
Turtle, fish and whale,
Normal is nondescript,
Rat, ferret and three-tail.
Rock is steadfast,
Lizard, rhino and liar,
Wind is noble,
Eagle, ray and flyer.
Grass is ancient,
Tree, toad and flower,
Dragon is itself,
Ultimate power.
Psychics are thinkers,
Fox, star and bird,
Dark goes alone,
Unseen and unheard.
Ice is stillness,
A god and a gnome,
Ghosts are fear,
Chill to the bone.
Fighters are violent,
But steer clear of flyers,
Bugs are themselves,
Winged ones or crawlers.
Ground is overlooked,
Bear, hedgehog and mole,
Seventeen types there are,
That's it, that's them all.
So what do you think? Just a cute poem I wrote when I was on holiday. It's really meant to be read aloud, I think…it's got a bit of a beat to it. Oh well. I hope you liked it!
