Chapter 1 Trip to a ship

"Computer! Show me the moon," Zim ordered.

A large telescope extended out from the ceiling and lowered down to the little irken so he could reach it. He closed one crimson eye and looked into it with the other. The computer zeroed in on the moon and Zim adjusted the lenses to his liking. All the while he twisted the telescope every which way and made made humming noises of approval.

After several minutes of observation he yelled out," Ahha! Just as I thought, man didn't land on the moon! Pitiful humans, they can't even reach the rock that orbits them." He paused as he pondered an evil plan that crept up in his mind," I wonder what would happen if I destroyed the moon..."

The so-called irken invader peered into the black and red telescope once again. The pearl-like moon came into view, but suddenly a shadow descended over it like an eclipse. Zim drew his head back from the devise and raised a non-existing eyebrow. He them smacked the telescope as if it would help and looked at the moon again. The shadow had now completely covered the moon, which had lit the fuse to Zim's temper that was shorter than himself.

"Computer! What is that!?" he asked enraged.

A spaceship appeared on a large screen that had rose from the floor. Zim hit a green button with his native language written on it. Demonic-looking aliens appeared on the screen. They apparently hadn't realized Zim had called.

"Hey you, move your blocking my view!"

They didn't respond.

" Hey! Hey! Hey ! Move! Hey! Oh for the love of Irk," he said exasperated and turned off the transmitter." If you want something done right, you have to go there and do it in person!"

He stressfully pulled at his antenna and called out," Gir!"

A metallic little robot with cyan eyes slid down a shoot from the house level and rolled to a stop at his master's feet with a dirty pig toy clutched in one hand. He smiled sweetly with his pink tongue hanging out and waved enthusiastically. Upon his master's stern gaze that could only mean business, he changed to a completely different personality equipped with glowing red eyes.

" Yes master!?"

" Stay here and watch the base," Zim ordered.

Gir eyes flashed back to a cyan color and he heaved an overly dramatic sigh. He liked going on missions with his master. He didn't even mind when he got yelled at for messing up. Unfortunately his lord didn't hold much confidence in him from he last hundred screw ups, so he was to be left behind. At least he wouldn't miss any of his favorite TV shows.

" AWWW MAN!!" Gir pouted.

Zim shook his head and hopped into his voot-crusier. The windshield closed with a hiss and the roof opened up above him. In a flash, he was off. Soaring through the heavens to what appeared to be a bunch of demons. As he approached the hell ship, he could feel a strange dark power radiating off it. The force seemed to sink deep into his soul and feed off his most secret fears. His mind was racing and dark thought were screaming at him.

'Kill them...destroy them...rip..crush...prove you are worthy...they must all die...'

Zim quickly shook the thoughts away, wondering what brought that little episode on. He ignored all the thoughts and feelings that were threatening to consume him and flew up next to the ship. After a short search, he found an entrance and docked his voot-cruiser.

Once he regained his composure, he made his way down the hall as if he owned the place. He called out," Ok listen up! Move your stupid ship! You're blocking my -"

He was cut off when someone who was obviously a guard slammed him up against the wall before he could finish. The alien looked like a very pale human with tentacles for arms and red and black eyes.

" State your name and presence!" he ordered, crushing Zim into the wall. He gave a fang filled growl to show that he wasn't someone to be pushed around.

" You see, I would but...you're hurting me," Zim groaned as his arm made an unnatural cracking noise. The guard loosened his grip and Zim pushed him away. While gently rubbing his hurt arm, he asked," I'm not going to get away with telling you I’m a figment of you imagination, am I?" The guard shook his head.

" I want to talk to who ever is running this ship." Zim stated with a glare.

The alien seemed to think something over before nodding and leading Zim down a long hallway full of dark jail cells. They ended up in a large room with a transmitter, radio, and other unusual gadgets. The two walked up to a women that had an air of leadership about her. She too had paper white skin and black and red eyes. Her silvery hair was tied up in buns with red ribbon. She looked like a human in her thirties. Her blood stained fangs poked out from her pink lips, she had claws for fingers, and was wearing a red and black dress.

" Mistress, I found this green one wandering the halls, he wanted to see you," said the alien that had led Zim to her.

Her lips twisted down in a frown." How many times do I have to tell you, don't take orders from the food, Gart!?" she hissed, obviously not pleased.

" Excuse me, food?!" Zim asked.

She ignored the irken and snapped, " You will be punished later, Gart. Now get back to work!" She turned her piercing, hungry gaze toward Zim and asked, "Now what do you want?"

" For the third time, I want you to move your ship! Also, I've been dieing to know, what are you?" he asked, confused.

" I'm a vampire." she stated simply.

" Yeah um, that’s great and all but there's no such thing as vampires," he said unconvinced. Her eyes glowed and she hissed leaning forward to Zim, baring her fangs. " Nice teeth."

She sighed and asked," Do you even know about vampires?"

Zim shook his head. " All I know is that you can't stand sunlight, and there's a whole lot of the here. So what gives?"

" We go from planet to planet; sucking the blood from the life forms, turning them into our vampire slaves. Earth is next," she said and cackled manically.

" You're not touching this planet. The destruction of earth is mine alone! You're just going to have to go somewhere else." Zim said and waved his hand in a 'go away' gesture.

" We're not taking orders from you, little green one!" she said, towering over him, licking her lips." Now stand still. We can't have you running around warning every one," she hissed, fangs extending.

Zim ejected his spider legs and raced down the hall. The vampire's leader yelled over the intercom," Get that green alien!" Zim looked behind him to see over thirty bats were chasing him. His metal legs clanked against the ground. He ran as fast as he could possibly go and leaped into his voot-cruiser like a deer. He closed the windshield and shot off into space. " That was close," he sighed in relief. Once he thought he was out of danger, he relaxed. Suddenly red lasers shot around him. He twisted around in his seat to see a fleet of small ships chasing him.

"Awww CRAP," Zim screamed as one ship rammed him while another shot more lasers.

He raced through space like a cheetah, zigzagging every which way. The vampires were on his trail. Zim desperately tried to think of a way out of his current situation. He couldn't stay in open space, out in plane sight. They would get his for sure. He needed a distraction. But what? He grinned when an idea struck him. The moon! He would lose them on the moon. And to think he wanted to destroy it.

Zim shot down toward the moon, and just as he planned, the enemy ships followed. He was lost from sight behind a crater, and when they couldn't see him, he hid inside a small canyon. Finally, he lost them.

Zim headed down to earth when the coast was clear. He was entering the earth's atmosphere when suddenly a laser hit his ship in just the wrong place.

" Shutting down in five, four, three, two, one." The computer said as all the power in his voot cruiser shut off and Zim went falling down to earth.

" CUUURSSSE YOOOUU!!" he cried at he fell, until they could no longer hear him.

" Mission accomplished." said Gart.

Zim hit the ground with a thud, luckily he was just over his town. So he wasn't really far from home.

" Good thing I got those airbags installed," he sighed stepping out of his shattered voot-cruisier." HA!! They think I died, but I didn't, I'm still alive. Once again, Zim is the victor!! Well sort of..." he shrugged.

Well, I hope this chapter is a little better now...hopefully...I know what will happen, but I don't know what will happen in between that...So hopefully I will be inspired so I can update this...
