Shadow dark: poke kitten with pointy stick uhhhh...okaaaay...
Lawyers: Our client does not own Invader Zim, don't sue her...
sarcastically Thank you SO much for bringing up the fact that I don't own Invader Zim...snorts why can't I think up good characters of my own?!
Shadow dark: Cause your not motivated enough...so you spread your insanity to other people and characters rather than you own creations...or something like that...
Oh yeah!!
Chapter 6
Zita ran down the street. Something was chasing her. She wasn't sure what that was, but she did know that it had been affected by another vampire, so that could only mean that it was after her blood. She could feel its powerful presence and could see its shadowy form following her every move. She ran around another curve in the path which unfortunately lead to a dead end, no pun intended.
" Damn it." she swore.
" Ziiiitaaa," a familiar voice hissed." Poor little Zita, all alone in the world with nobody to help her."
The form stepped out from the shadows and into the light of a street lamp. It was obviously some sort of alien. Green skin, red eyes, black antenna; yup, definitely an alien. Zita backed up into the wall.
"Awww." the thing cooed." You're gonna fight to the death? Good! I like it when they squirm."
He licked his lips and she glared at him. Just then, an onion suddenly flew through the air and landed in front of Zim. When you sense of smell is heightened to the point where you can smell a pie baking on a different continent, and onion will make you want to claw your own eyes out, or bang you head against a wall until you lose consciousness. Zim coughed and choked on the horrible smell. He leaped back into the shadows and got as far away from the onion without losing sight of his prey.
" Do you always go after those who can't defend themselves? Pathetic!" Dib sneered as he walked into the alleyway.
" W-what?" Zita stuttered. Never in her life had she been so happy to see Dib.
" Run Zita!" Dib said. She didn't need to be told twice, she ran off.
Zim watched her go and then turned and glared back at his enemy," Are you here for a reason, Dib?!"
" Don't you remember? You're going to help us defeat the queen vampire." Dib stated.
" HA! Why would I help you and betray my leader?!" Zim asked.
" Oh...So you're saying that Ate is you leader?" Dib asked.
" I think that was implied, yes." Zim said, confused.
" What about the Tallest?" Dib asked slyly.
Zim's crimson eyes widened from the shadows. His voice lost that cruel tone it had gained when he became a vampire," My tallest?! W-what about my Tallest?"
" You just said a second ago that you leader was Ate. Does that mean you're betraying the Tallest?" Dib asked.
" I'm not betraying anyone!" Zim snarled." The tallest are my leaders!" his voice became deep and cruel again." No! I only obey the commands of Ate!" It went back to his normal self," No! I... can't! My Tallest...I only listen to them...no..I can't"
His voice turned deep and cruel, but it stayed like that this time. He stepped out of the shadows and crushed the onion under his foot. He glared daggers at Dib and grinned menacingly," Nice try. But it won't work. I have so much power now, I'm not letting that go!"
' His has knowledge on the queen that we could use against her. This had better work,' Dib thought to himself.
" What do you think of this, Zim?!" He pulled out a cross and held it up to the alien.
Zim cackled," Please, Dib! I don't even believe in your earth religions!" Dib sighed in annoyance and stuffed the cross back into his trench coat pocket. Zim glared at him and growled," Diiiiib...you lost my prey."
Zim tackled Dib to the ground and his fangs grew longer. Dib pushed Zim away and scrambled to his feet. Zim slid to a stop and grinned," I can't wait to drink you dry Dib. And in your weakened state, I'll kill you."
Dib picked up a pipe from the ground and Zim's eye lit up," So you want to play that game? Okay, fine." he picked up a thick rusty chain.
They both cried out as they raced at each other to attack. Thunder and lightning struck overhead. Meanwhile, Gaz was pacing her house. they had the doors and windows berated. He father was busy working on the device he invented that can defeat the vampires...well, sort of defeat.
" What's taking him so long?" Gaz asked.
" Now, now, daughter. I'm sure your brother is fine. He goes after these type of things all the time, he's most qualified for this job." Professor Membrane stated.
" Yeah," Gaz grumbled." But I think I should be out there helping him."
" He said he'll be back once he gets his little foreign friend." Her father said.
" But he sucks at fighting!" she exclaimed.
Dib and Zim were in the alleyway panting from exhaustion. Dib was slumped against a trashcan and Zim was leaning against the wall for support. Both enemies were cut, bruised, and beaten. As Dib looked around the ally, he saw a crowd of bats that had collected around them, probably because the scent of blood was so strong. Zim also seemed to notice them because he hissed loudly and most of the bats flew away. He slowly walked over to the human, his red-stained chain dragging behind him.
He spit out some blood that had collected up in his mouth and growled," Well, Dib, you sure put up a good fight." Dib struggled to get up but slumped to the ground again.” But in the end, I won."
Zim dropped the chain and stood over Dib, his fangs extending. As Zim dropped to his knees to get closer to Dib neck, Dib reached into his trench coat pocket and pulled out a small device that Zim didn't seem to notice. Before he even knew what was happening, Dib smacked a small computer chip to Zim’s forehead. The chip hummed as it came to life. Zim cried out and clawed at the chip. The device glowed and sparked, then finally made a small little click noise and Zim fell limply to the ground.
Dib painfully limped over to the alien and nudged him with his foot. Zim didn't move, his eyes were wide open. Dib coughed and finally said," You lose." he wiped some blood from his face and said," Zim, stand up."
Zim blinked and stood up. Dib was amazed how well the computer chip worked. He said," Zim, uhhh, raise you left arm in the air."
Like a robot, Zim raised his left arm in the air.
Dib grinned mischievously and said," Zim, run into that wall."
Zim turned around and smacked into the wall.
Dib laughed," Well, look who's in control now! Okay, Zim, come on. We're going back to my house."
Dib and a now mindless Zim made there way back to the Membrane household.
That's all for now! More later. Leave a review and maybe I'll update sooner. Kay?! Bye!!
