Hero By Design
Foreword: The Outline

For this story, a few changes to the show story line must be noted:

1. This story begins exactly one week after the defeat of MaloMyotismon.
2. In this story, just to be cautious, immediately following the defeat of MaloMyotismon, Gennai and the Guardians sealed off access to the digital world.
3. Kari and TK began going out with each other about a week before the defeat of MaloMyotismon, but no one knows yet.
4. Although the digimon had a choice to return to the digital world, all the digimon with the Odaiba digidestined decided to stay in the real world, even though within a month, they would be too weak to digivolve. (Which means that they have about 3 weeks left.)

With these few changes to the way the story goes in the show, I would also like to note that I would like to give credit where credit is due. This was not a story line that came to me out of nowhere. The following stories had a great influence on the way I wrote this story:

1. The DidiDestined Saga - By Digivice. This story made me consider the idea of a full military concept, with ranking, and very organized forces. This was a great influence, considering that I am in the Air Force Auxilary, and I really enjoy the military.
2. Digimon: EndGame - By Psycho G. This story really shattered all my doubts about making a DBZ type Digimon story that was innovative and original. It also furthered my concept on dimension travel, although I must award most of that influence to my hobby of reading a lot of theoretical physics.
3. The Remains Of Twilight - By Ben Myatt. This story shattered another one of my doubts by successfully casting Davis in a lead role where he was very hard on the outside, with motivation and training to kill. Although Davis was cast as a good guy in this story, he was one of those I'm-not-taking-crap-from-anyone-because-I-know-what-that-does kinda guys. He didn't take prisoners.
4. Walkabout - By Silver. This story was an overall great influence on me on how to structure my stories and how to organize the rising and falling action. It was very well thought, and in my opinion, one of the best stories that has been written in the Digimon section.

Although this is an original story line, you will notice some aspects of the story that have been influenced by the stories above. I would like to thank the above authors, as well as Anthony, Digi Bonds, and few others, (sorry, not online right now, and I can't think of your names), for writing truly outstanding work, and for making some constructive criticism in some of my stories. Lastly, before I begin my story, I would like to thank all the people who read my stories loyally, and keep me from ripping up or deleting all the stories that I write. (I just might do that if no one liked them ya know. I'm my own worst critic... who doesn't flame.)

Also, I would like to note that at the end of each chapter, I will be posting recomended story and a recomended author. They may be the same, they may be different. The point is, they are there, and I have this severe want to somehow show my favorite authors my gratitude.
