Only a game, an RPG,

Spared would be the many souls

Who live with hate in misery.

If only if there hadn’t been

Such a foolish, loud campaign

They would have no need to hate

To ostracize and then defame.

If only we’d been spared the toys –

Damn Hasbro and its childrens’ aims! –

Free would be the older gamer

Free to enjoy and play his game.

If only the censors had been locked up

Unable to ruin the anime,

There would be fewer calling it "stupid"

There would be fewer calling it "gay".

If only the cries of cliques would cease –

What is there that’s not to get?

Who is it that’s truly brainwashed?

Is it the fan or the bigot?
