"Dies Last"





They tell me

Hope never dies

They smile at me

And continue the lies

They don't understand

I suppose they never could

These words that they're saying

Are simply no good

And I am left in the dark

And I all alone will fall

For Hope, it does die

As do they all

The problem with Hope

With its chances so fast

Is that the gods-damned thing

Is the thing that dies last.
