Darkness, there is darkness here all around.

Darkness, brief haunting glimpses of life and hope, but the darkness kills these before they have a chance to grow.

Pain, is here, friend of darkness, something I know too well.

Yes pain, the enemy I know as well as the friend.

Where once I felt a longing, now I feel pain, an escape to this I seek but am unable to find.

An existence void of meaning is what I am now faced with.

Fear grows inside of me, a new type of fear, one I am not familiar with, fear of life.

An odd sensation to feel it, to feel it grow.

Why? Why do I torment over such things?

Because of the loss.

A loss so easily blamed on others, yet in truth a loss I caused.

The death caused by the darkness, MY darkness.

And now the darkness in my being is joined by others.

Joined by fear, joined by pain, and joined by the void.

How I long to go into oblivion, to end this existence.

Now my life I must face, a life without my friend.

A life without the only one who understood the darkness, Transmutate.

"Rampage? What are you doing out here?" Megatron said stepping towards the Predacon giant.

Rampage continued to sit staring blankly out into the darkness before him. Into the night sky of this insignificant planet.

An insignificant planet inside of a meaningless Universe. Inside of the void called existence.

"Just thinking." He finally answered, a touch of pain filling his words.
