There's Always A First Time

The alarm clock rang, causing Marty McFly to jump out of bed. He dashed to the kitchen in record time for breakfast, did the usual morning stuff, and then grabbed his trusty skateboard and hit the road.

Checking his watch as he clutched to the back of some unfortunate passing truck, Marty realized that for once, he might actually make it.

Barely five minutes later, he was off the skateboard and walking towards his school building. As he ascended the front steps of Hill Valley High, Marty grinned, thinking of Jennifer's possible reaction when he told her the news. For the first time in his life, he had actually been early for school.
