Author Notes: AOA stands for Age of Apocalypse. Kurt in the AOA universe is a blue furry elf-like mutant boy that was raised by his mother Mystique instead of being abandoned and he learns the way of extreme survival in a world ruled by Apocalypse. He is not evil, but he's certainly not all together good in the AOA universe. The meaner, yet cooler version of Kurt a.k.a. Nightcrawler. This ficcy has some Kurtty in it, because I wrote this way back when I used to like Kurtty and back when Mystique didn't return to the Brotherhood (forget which season that happened in). Kitty has to decide if she loves Kurt or the AOA Kurt, while he wants to destroy Xavier to save the world from Apocalypse. This is an old story I almost threw away, so please enjoy it and R/R, no flames!
A man with dark wavy long hair crept out some tall bushes near the Xavier Institute. He looked around himself with slight disgust and contempt. "Living affluently without realizing the hell that's coming..." he said out loud, adjusting the twin katana blades strapped to his back. He was about to go and murder Charles Xavier, but changed his mind. "No, not yet. I don't want the children of this dimension after me for killing him before they learn why that man must die." He transported himself to a place where he knew the Brotherhood stayed. He prowled the Brotherhood Boarding home, searching to see if anyone was home. There was no one home. Quick as a heartbeat, he was gone and heading carefully towards civilization. He passed a school that was called Bayville High. He paid no attention to the teens streaming out of the building at the time until he saw Scott.
'I remember you...' he thought to himself and realized this was where the students went to school. He wished he didn't have to tell them the awful thing he had to do to save his world and theirs. He knew they'd never understand and would try to stop him and he would have to take more lives. 'If it's to stop Apocalypse from winning this world, then so be it. I'll destroy anyone who gets in my way.' he confirmed and saw the people he wanted to talk to. Lance was getting into his Jeep with his buddies as the man approached them. He got straight to the point with them. "Are you the team known as the Brotherhood?" he asked to make sure just in case. Lance eyed him funny. Pietro was fixing his nail too snobbily to even notice the guy. Freddie and Todd eyed him suspiciously.
"Yeah... We are. What's it to you?" Lance answered, acting macho as usual. "Plenty. Where is Mystique?" the man asked then. Todd squeaked, "She's gone, yo! She left us and is never coming back."
"You mean she's dead?" The man adjusted the strap on his image inducer. Pietro's speedy reply was, "No, she's out there somewhere. We just don't know where." Lance critically stared at the man. "How do you know about Mystique and the Brotherhood?" he asked, not liking this guy already. The man laughed scornfully. "I'll tell you everything once we are at that hideous boarding home you have to live in. Let's go."
Lance put his hand up. "Wait wait. We're not going anywhere until you tell us who you are." Pietro tried to be macho as well. "Yeah, we just don't let anyone in on are secret organization. Let's get some info on you."
The man frowned and got rough with Lance, who was standing in his way. "I said I'll tell you all you need to know when we are away from the public. If I need to repeat myself, there are going to be four dead boys in this Jeep. Understand?" the man ordered, pointing a gun to Lance's head suddenly. Before they could react, the man put the gun away and shoved Lance into the Jeep and went to the driver's side. He seated himself quickly and started the ignition since the key was already there. Soon, the four silent boys feared for their lives due the vicious unspeakable threats that came from the stranger's mouth. They were surprised that he knew where they lived and how he knew stuff about them. 'It's all rotten Mystique's fault!' Todd thought bitterly, frightened the most. 'This guy is probably her mortal enemy and since he can't find her, we're going to get killed for it! Curse her!' The little frog boy squirmed silently in his seat, unable to take the mental torment of 'what if's'. Lance was thinking how stupid he was to let them get kidnapped, or were they? Freddie hoped this new guy would leave them alone for good after he smelled Todd long enough. He dared to sit on him as well, in hopes of killing him, then they'd have nothing to worry about.
Pietro was fretting over how would he keep his body scar free if he had to fight this mean guy. And if he would be treated like a god, which he sourly doubted. He tried to whine his way out of everything, but he was cuffed by the stranger and his friends hissed at him to shut up before they were blown away. None of them used their powers to defend themselves because the guy hadn't really attacked them yet and they wanted to know how he knew them.
The man watched them each get into the house and he followed them. He shut the door and turned off his image inducer. The four boys gasped in surprise, shock, and irritation. The blue fur, pointed ears, yellow eyes, long spaded tail, three fingers, and two toed feet all belonged to one mutant they knew all too well. The man before them looked like Kurt, but strangely different somehow. His hair was much longer than usual and he had a weird red tattoo over his left eye. Plus he had no pupils at all, his eyes were all glowing golden yellow. He appeared to look older than Scott and Lance and had lean strong muscles all over, intimidating the young boys. It didn't make much difference to Todd though, who immediately tried to attack him. "FUZZY DIE!" he roared, leaping at him.
Kurt kneed poor Todd in the gut, causing the Todd to fall to the floor gasping for air. The three others watched in sheer wonderment. Kurt then grabbed Todd by the hair and lifted him off the floor. He threw him back towards his friends a few feet away. Freddie helped Todd to his feet, who was struggling not to choke on his own vomit. He had never been hit THAT hard, especially not by Kurt. "What's the matter with you! You almost killed him!" Freddie yelled. Kurt kept his menacing frown. "Do you want to be next?" he hissed, eyes flashing. Freddie felt doubtful and backed down, saying nothing. Lance decided to handle this Kurt look-alike in the best way possible. But Pietro opened his speedy mouth. "Okie, so you're that freak Kurt Wagner huh?"
Lance was sure Pietro was going to be eating linoleum soon, but the furry elf gawked at him irritably. "Wagner? My name is Kurt Darkholme and I'm looking for my mother, Mystique. I might as well tell you everything before you brats get on my nerves and I'll have to kill you all." Kurt explained that he came from a dimension which Apocalypse ruled everything and Magneto created the resistance against him. But all of it failed recently and Magneto told Kurt to go to the alternate timeline dimension to prevent Apocalypse from taking over other dimensions and universes before it was too late. And the only way to do that was to kill Xavier because he was going to be in a place in the near future, where Apocalypse could use him to pull himself into that dimension to conquer. Mystique was missing and probably dead in his original dimension and he needed her help to get rid of Apocalypse if he did manage to get into this world. Pietro asked how did Kurt get here then and he told him he was attuned to Xavier's brain energy and was able to get over because of him. "That's why I have to kill Charles Xavier before Apocalypse can hone into his energy. Anyone can get into this dimension because of that man." Kurt said.
"But how will you get back to your dimension then?" Lance asked. Kurt shook his head. "I don't want to go back to that hell on earth ever again. My mother's probably dead and so are my... 'friends'. I bet even Damask is gone... I'll be much happier staying here." Pietro had brushed his teeth to maintain his dental beauty and had returned within 30 seconds. "So, you're saying you want to get rid of baldy?" he asked, combing his bleach white locks. "I have no other choice really. I'm only telling you all this just in case Apocalypse does get here somehow after I get rid of Xavier and you'll all have to help in resist that monster. If you don't then you'll be first of many to die. And since my mother takes care of the Brotherhood," Kurt said, but Lance and Pietro scoffed at that line. "...I'm next in line to care for this team." Lance thought to himself then. 'Yeah, if he's anything like Mystique I know how far that 'promise' will go.'
Freddie gawked at him. "Are you sure you're Kurt? Because the Kurt we know isn't anything near how you are."
Tabitha had finally come home from her job. (Prostitution-Heehee:D) "Hey, guys! I'm home!" she called, sauntering into the living room then. "Whooooaaa!" she cried the second she laid her evil eyes on Kurt. She thought it was the same Kurt she went to school with and immediately began to comment. "Blue, lay off the Bowflex! If you get anymore buff, I'll have to request you to strut around nude! BOOOM! Nakie Kurtie! HEEHEE!"
Lance, Pietro, and Freddie hid their faces in shame and disgust. Evil Tabitha, so vulgar and disgusting! Ugh! Kurt raised an eyebrow, giving her a critical amused, yet bemused look at the same time. Damask had said similar things to him when they were alone and his mother was away with Destiny during the short time they spent on Avalon. His mind wandered off to a very naughty memory of Damask with him alone in the bushes. Tabitha slapped her thighs and clapped her hands, laughing. "Ha! I blew beautiful Fuzzy away!"
Lance held his head irritably. "Tabitha, what have you been inhaling?" Tabitha looked blank. "Huh?" Pietro frowned at her. "Duh, you idiot, that's not really Kurt! It's some other Kurt guy, person thingie, I dunno!" Kurt gave Petey a look. "Person thingie? I ought to 'port your head off."
Pietro blew a raspberry. "Just go ahead and try, slowmoe! No one can catch me, Tee hee!" he teased, making strange faces at him. Kurt shook his head. "Your father was right. You are an idiot." Under his breath, he muttered, "Stupid kid."
"How dare you say that to me! Do you know that I get STRAIGHT A's! Huh? Well, do ya! Doyadoyadoyadoya!" Pietro yelled, getting his white mane frazzled slightly. "Oh no! My beautiful hair is ruined! All thanks to you!" he cried, running upstairs to his room to sulk and comb. Kurt was not at all amused. "How do you put up with him?" he asked Lance. The teen shook his head. "I don't know."
Tabitha would not go away. "So, Blue, tell me, how'd ya get so buff so quick huh?" Before Kurt could reply, Lance slapped his forehead in disgust and nearly yelled, "Ugh! Tabby, we told you! He's not Kurt!"
But then Kurt said, "Yes I am." Tabitha looked at Kurt and then at Lance quickly.
"He says he is!"
"Well, he's not really!"
"Yes I am."
"See!"
"Shut up! He means he's Kurt, but he's not really Kurt Kurt. He's not the Kurt we all know and hate!"
Tabitha scratched her horrible head like an ape. "Whaaaaaat!" she cried, becoming irritated and confused. Lance threw his hands into the air and looked to Fred for help, but he was gone. "Freddie? Where'd you go?"
"He went to go eat, dummy." Tabitha scolded, cuddling up close to Kurt, evilly placing her hands where they did not belong. It make Lance want to puke. "Ugh! Why the *beeep-f-word* do girls like you so much!" he yelled angrily, feeling very jealous. How come the fuzzy elf, no matter what version, got to be a lady's man? Why couldn't Lance Alver's be the lady's man for once?
Tabitha had to answer that question. "Because he's so darn sexy, Lancey-poo. Come on, Blue. Tell me, how'd you get so buff so fast?" Kurt grinned at her. "You're Boom Boom right?"
"Well, duh. Did you forget or something?" she gurgled like a monster. Kurt fluffed his long wavy hair hunky-pooly. "You're much more prettier than the one I knew." he said charmingly. Tabitha looked confused again, but liked what she was hearing. "Really? Oh Blue, you're so sex-ah! Thanks! Hahaa!"
Kurt laughed at her stupidity. "Well, I'll be going then. Once I find my mother, the Brotherhood will be trained by the best to face any human oppression. Auf wiedersehen." Kurt bamfed to the door and gave a little wave to Tabitha to get her hopes up and bamfed out of sight.
Tabitha squealed with delight and began to coo over how hunky-poo the 'new' Kurt was and couldn't wait to go on a date with him. Lance groaned irritably and lit a cigarette. Freddie finished his tenth burger and went upstairs to take care of Todd.
Kurt prowled around outside the gates of Xavier's mansion, looking for the right spot in bamf in without anyone knowing and go kill Xavier and explain later. 'I should have killed him as soon as I got here and the kids were at school. Oh well, it shouldn't matter much.' he thought, finally finding an empty dark room on the west wing. He bamfed into that room and flattened himself up against the wall near the door. Sword drawn, he was about to check if anyone was nearby when he noticed the room had many things he liked as a boy. Instead of hunting down Xavier at that moment, he stopped and searched about the room. Since he could see in the dark perfectly, he didn't have to risk turning on the lights whatsoever. He opened a drawer and found a diary that had his name on it and was locked. He popped the lock open with his sword's tip carefully and opened the book. His eyes met German words that brought back memories to him. He hadn't talked in his native language for years, much less read any of it. Some pages had English on it, which was probably why there was a lock on it due to the fact that many here knew English.
He read many stories about what happened with the X-Men and about how much Kurt loved a girl named Kitty. Kurt thought it was weird that his dimensional counterpart had a silly crush on Shadowcat. He saw her more like an annoying sister than a lover. He sat on the bed and read some more of the diary and didn't realize he got contented causing his long tail to sway back and forth making noise.
"Hey, do you hear that?" someone outside the room said. Kurt immediately grabbed his sword and stuffed the diary into a pocket on his armor.
"I didn't hear anything."
"Well, Ah did. It sounded like a rat running around in Kurt's room."
"Yeah, right! A rat in this place?... Well, maybe... It IS Kurt's room."
"Dun't worry about it. You go on ahead to the Danger Room and Ah'll catch up, Evan."
Kurt looked about him frantically to hide. He didn't want to spill anyone's blood other than the Professor's. He raced for the room sized walk-in closet and closed the doors behind him. He left them open just a crack to see who was talking. It sounded like Rogue. When the girl walked in, Kurt was sure it was her, but she looked different to the one he knew before she was killed by Apocalypse. "Ah was sure I heard sum-thang in here. Hmmph." she said to herself. Kurt didn't know why, but he thought she was beautiful and felt something different towards her than he did before.
Rogue was so sure she heard something in Kurt's room and because she was being stalked at school by a lame-o jock, she decided to search more. "Kevin, if this is one of your stupid jokes..." she growled, going over to the closet. Kurt hoped she would go away. He didn't want to bamf since he enjoyed looking at her.
"Kevin, Ah mean it. If you're in there..." she said, before pulling open the doors. In panic, Kurt bamfed, but since he couldn't think straight, he reappeared behind her a few feet away. Rogue turned around and gasped. "K-Kurt...?" she squeaked, looking him over with surprised wide eyes.
Kurt shook his head and tried to escape towards the window, but Rogue chased after him. She grabbed hold of his arm and he began to fight her to get away. Somehow she accidentally touched his face and took his powers, plus frightening memories from the AOA. Kurt collapsed to the floor, face down and unconscious. Rogue fell to the floor next to him being overwhelmed by the horrific memories now flooding her brain. She saw her team being killed by huge robots she never saw before and a ugly armored large man chasing down mutants. Then she saw Mystique dressed in strange clothes with Irene in a beautiful forest and two different women and a young blonde haired boy. They went to a city and people began dying everywhere. Mystique shot one woman apart and then a marbled area where a woman with short black hair used her powers on something. More screaming. Rogue feel sick to her stomach viewing all this carnage in her mind. "GET OUT OF MAH HEAD! GET OUT!" she screamed on top of her lungs. She kept on screaming since the images wouldn't stop. Eventually, nearly everyone in the mansion came running to Kurt's room.
"Rogue! Rogue what's wrong!" Scott cried, being one of the first to get there. "What's going on!" Kitty cried, phasing through the wall. "Why's she screaming like that?" Evan yelled, trying to get himself heard above the screaming. Jean noticed Kurt's large dark form near Rogue then. "Who IS that!" she cried, alarmed.
Charles pushed the others away to get to Rogue. "Rogue! Rogue, can you hear me?" he called, as Logan picked her up some to help Xavier get his hands close to her head without touching to reach her telepathically. She tried to fight off Logan thinking he was one of the demons in the memories, so Xavier knew he better hurry up and get her calmed down.
Rogue, can you hear me? Xavier said, concentrating hard to get through to her. Y-yes! Ah can- oh Professor! Help me! Help me, these images are killing me! Please make them go away! Make them go away! she responded, in desperate need. Charles did his best to block the horrible memories she had absorbed and succeeded. Rogue slumped in Logan's arms and began to cry. "What happened, Rogue?" Xavier asked.
"And who is THAT!" Jean asked again, going over to Kurt's body. Evan went to switch on the lights. She took the honors of turning him over. Everyone took a look and couldn't believe their eyes. "Like, is that Kurt!" Kitty squealed, shocked. Evan was confused. "I thought he was in Germany visiting his foster parents for a month. And how'd he get so big?"
Rogue was too upset to answer any questions, but before anyone could take her away to calm her down, Kurt was coming to. "Uhh..." he groaned, holding his head. He looked around himself, in a pained state. When he saw everyone staring back at him, he leapt to his feet instantly, drawing his sword. "Don't touch me!" he growled, backing away from them, crouched.
Xavier had never seen Kurt like this before and wasn't sure if this WAS Kurt. Jean felt like she should be in charge of asking questions about him. "Who are you?"
Kurt frowned and stood up straighter, but had his sword out and ready for assault. "I'm Kurt Darkholme. Don't waste your time telling me who you all are, because I already know. It seems only Rogue knew who I was. Pity."
Evan loved being stupid. "Darkholme? Dude, that's not your last name. It's Wagner, man." This Kurt loved to frown at stupid people. "It may be Wagner for the one who lives in this dimension, but it's not for me."
"Dimension?" Scott asked, out loud. Kurt nodded. "Yes, I'm from the Age of Apocalypse dimension, where Magneto leads the X-Men against Apocalypse." Charles went pale. "Why would Magneto lead my X-Men? I thought he didn't believe in peace between mutants and humans." Kurt found that funny and laughed and laughed. His laughter sent chills down everyone's spines, except Rogue felt a different kind of chill. "Where I'm from there is no such thing as humans. Apocalypse killed them all and we mutants have to fight to stay alive against him. But that rebellion has failed. Magneto has begged me to stop Apocalypse at any cost, by not letting him conquer this dimension and the others out there. That crazy mad man is coming here next to kill both humans and mutants and I'm not going to let him. I can't let Magneto nor the mutant race down."
"You can't expect us to really believe that, can you?" Jean squawked like a chicken. Kurt's eyes flashed a mean glow. "I really don't care if you believe me or not, but I have to stop Apocalypse. It's a pity Cable had to die, he would be great help against that monster." Kitty was scared out of her mind. "W-who's Cable?"
"Cable was a great man who fought well against Apocalypse in many battles and wars. His real name is Nathan Summers, your son, Scott." That info hit Scott like a ton of bricks. "W-what!"
"Forget it, I don't have time to answer questions. I will tell you that the only way I got here was being attuned Professor Charles Xavier's brain waves. Apocalypse can not follow me into this dimension without him, so he MUST die!" Kurt yelled the last sentence hard, getting irritated over the whole ordeal. He wanted the AOA to end here, right now. Logan let Rogue go and whipped out his claws.
"No one's killing ol' Chuck here, so you just get that idea out of your head, kid." he snarled, not liking the scent on Kurt. Everyone else was too shocked to say anything. Xavier could imagine easily that Kurt here was going to really run him through with that sword he had. He worried for everyone else's safety and Wolverine's right then. "Everyone get out of the room now!" he ordered, but before anyone could take a step, Kurt bamfed to the door and shut it. He held out his sword offensively to those near the door. "No one's going anywhere! I wished it didn't have to come down to this! I don't want any more blood shed than you do, but this is for the best! If I don't kill Xavier, we'll ALL die!" Kurt growled. Wolverine snorted at his words and approached him carefully. "I don't know how or why, but you got a similar stench like Sabertooth all over you, Elf. I don't care if this Apocalypse guy is coming to town, you're not going to kill Chuck."
"That man was my father and it's going to be over your dead body, Wolverine. This sword's not made of foil, it's adamantium just like your claws." Kurt said. He attacked Logan with incredible speed and agility, bamfing at all angles to attack. Logan had a hard time keeping up with squirrel. Logan threw a punch into thin air and whirled around to the shocked screams and gasps behind. He saw Kurt holding Charles against him with his forearm pressing against his throat, sword not far behind. "No! Leave him alone!" Scott cried, blasting at Kurt, but he bamfed away outside. Quickly the others went outside to try to help Charles. Unfortunately when they got there, they could see Kurt had wounded Xavier. Blood shone on his sword like thick dark paint dripping onto the grass. Kurt backed away a few feet and watched Beast hurry over to inspect the damage, praying it wasn't death. He looked at the wound and without another word, he raced away with Xavier to the infirmaries hoping to save the rich man's life. Kitty couldn't believe this other Kurt guy could do such a thing! "Y-you...! Y-you...BUTCHER!" she shrieked, so angry and sad at the same time. The others felt equally the same. "H-how could you do that to him! How! HOW! Do you HEAR me MAN! HOW!" Evan spat through tears.
Scott had a hard time not wanting to commit murder himself, he wanted to make Kurt pay dearly. "I never thought anyone that's supposed to be Kurt would do such a horrible thing like this! You're nothing like the real Kurt! He'd find another way to stop this Apocalypse guy! He'd never kill anyone to solve a problem!" he yelled. Jean sobbed hard as Scott supported her.
"You thought that was bad? I saved the world, you fools! You don't know Apocalypse, I do! I should 'port off your heads for being so sickeningly pathetic!" he yelled at them with such fierceness, it made them take a few steps back. He did still have that sword. After a silent few moments went by, Kurt said in a calmer voice. "I'm looking for my mother Mystique. I want to know where she is. Tell me."
"We don't know where she is ever since Asteroid M exploded." Scott answered, his mind whirling around about Apocalypse and if the Professor was really dead. Beast was a wonderful doctor, but it might be too late for Xavier. And if he was really dead... "Like, I'll never forgive you, Kurt!" Kitty yelled, being overemotional.
"Then don't forgive me! At least thank me for saving you all from not living the hell I had to with Apocalypse! Prissy little wanna-be! Think about yourself! Selfish little wench! The Kurt of this dimension loves you dearly and all you do is reject his innocent love to be childish and to save your reputation! It makes me sick! For people like you, I wish you could live in the AOA forever! Burn and rot in hell, like I had to! Since Apocalypse won't be able to come here, you're safe from him. But NOT from me..." Kurt threatened and turned to walk away. Kitty was frozen with shock.
Scott, Jean, Evan, and Kitty watched Kurt get to the gate and bamf. He didn't reappear anywhere they could see and retreated into the mansion. Wolverine nearly plowed over them. "Where is he! Where is he!" he snarled. Scott shook his head. "Dunno. He bamfed and was gone. Where were you?"
"Hank came running in here with Chuck and I went to help him. I got good news though. Chuck's going to pull through. It seems 'Kurt' messed up when he went and sliced Chuck's neck. He missed that big old vein by half an inch." The teens breathed a sigh of relief. "I'm so glad the Professor's going to be okie." Kitty sniffled. "But, like, I'm worried. Kurt said he's going to come after me!" Scott said quickly after her, "He sounded like he was going to go after all of us, Kitty. He's mad at us for not appreciating his efforts to 'save' us from a monster that doesn't exist."
"That's no good. You kids better be on your guard at school at all times. Here too. Until I nail that lunatic, none of us are safe." Logan warned. "The guy said his dad's Sabertooth of all people, so remember, this guy is not at all like the Kurt we all know and love that's in Germany right now. He's dangerous. Another thing, if Kurt from this dimension calls, don't tell the elf anything about this AOA Kurt. Got it?"
"AOA Kurt?" Scott repeated. Logan nodded. "Yeah, you know, all that nonsense about 'Age of Apocalypse' junk. Let's refer this guy as AOA, since that's where he says he comes from. When you leave the school grounds, stay together and keep your coms on at all times, understand?"
"We understand, Logan." Scott replied. The teens were about to head to their rooms to get to bed. "And don't even think about going to any after school activities, come right back to the institute!" Wolverine called to the tired upset teens. To himself he muttered, "I'm going huntin'..."
The next day at school, Kitty worried like crazy over AOA Kurt's threat. 'He's like going to get me! That threat was only for me, I know it! I just have that feeling...' she thought, shakily shoving her books into her locker and trying to find the ones she needed for the next classes. Out of the blue, Risty appeared. "Hey, girl, what's eating you?" she asked, in a cheery voice. Kitty smiled weakly at her. "N-nothing..." she stammered, taking out her History and Chem book. She was glad there wasn't a book for P.E., she HATED that class. Risty was too smart to fall for that answer. "Oh come on tell me. Is Lance bugging you again? Give me the word and I'll punch him for you." she said, trying to act like she was her best friend in the whole world. Kitty felt intense bitterness and couldn't help saying, "No, it's not him. It's Kurt... He-..., never mind." Risty's eyes widened. "He what? Come on, tell me. What did Kurt do that was so bad that makes you want to hit him? He seems like a nice guy to me. And isn't he in Germany right now?"
"No, you wouldn't understand. I've got to get to class." Kitty said, brushing her off. Risty watched Kitty run off and was determined to find out exactly what Kurt did. After Chemistry, the whole school had a meeting in the gym. Principal Kelly announced that Mr. Darkholme would be his vice-principal since he was going to run for senator soon and didn't want to leave the school without a principal. And he would be the P.E. teacher as well! "So, tell us, Mr. Darkholme, do you know what happened to Ms. Darkholme? We all were wondering where she went."
Kitty felt her blood run cold with fear from seeing even a holo-imaged version of AOA Kurt. Under that hologram was a terrible man she feared worse than ever. She couldn't see the others' reactions due to her intense fear. She remembered how she was afraid of regular old Kurt because of his demonic looks, but now that didn't seem like true fear. She had never felt so scared in her whole life, she could feel herself shaking. "Ms. Darkholme was my mother and sadly, she passed away. I feel it's my duty to carry on for her. That's why I want to thank you, Principal Kelly for letting me be your vice-principal. I promise to take care of the students extremely well..." AOA Kurt's words made Kitty want to wet her pants and she just went to the bathroom right before she got there. She couldn't take her eyes off him, what if he attacks? Suddenly, after Kelly took over the microphone once more, Kurt looked directly at her. He smiled a seductive grin that caused Kitty to think he was super hunky-poo despite her fear. She couldn't believe herself! She dreaded him immensely and then gets turned on by one sexy smile? 'What's wrong with me! I don't like Kurt! Well, like, I do like him, but NOT this one! He's going to kill me!'
Scott on the other side of the gym, saw Kurt's gaze shift to Kitty and was worried. 'Kitty has P.E. next! He's going to hurt her!' he thought alarmed. He felt disgusted and sad for the kids around him who were commenting how cool the new Darkholme guy looked as the guys were saying or how handsome as girls were saying. A voice in Scott's head told him not to worry. 'He won't kill Kitty. You know how much Kurt likes her, this one probably does too. He'll get caught too easily if he does it in public and he doesn't want mutants to be exposed, does he...?' Scott was worried once more.
As soon as the gym cleared out and the class for P.E. remained, Kurt clapped his hands to quiet down the room. He explained thoroughly that he would not tolerant any 'monkey business' and told them the basics stuff they were learn. Usually teens at Bayville were rebellious and disrespectful to new teachers, but the teens that didn't know better about AOA Kurt and thought he was the coolest guy. Kitty felt terrible knowing that her teacher was a murderer, that she was in gym class, and Rally was also in P.E. with her.
"First, we're going to warm up by running around the gym for five minutes." Kurt said. Kitty slowly got to her feet as the other students raced to show off to their new cool teacher. Kitty began to do a light jog and couldn't help overhearing her classmates' comments on Kurt.
"He's sooo handsome, Karen! Heheee!"
"I know! Do you see those muscles? Purr!"
"He's so hot, oh I wish I could be stuck on a deserted island with him... *drool*"
"Pipe down, he'll hear you!"
Kitty jogged behind the two giggling girls past Kurt with her head down. Kurt turned his head to the side and said, "What's wrong, Ms. Pryde? Don't feel well?" Kitty's head shot back up and she felt her anger return to her. It smashed her fear flat as she gave her meanest glare at him. "I don't feel sick." she said in a stiff voice. Kurt smiled that sexy grin again. "That's gut. Now be a wunderbar little Fräulein and do your best here." he teased, knowing very well that Kitty's best in gym was not a worthwhile effort.
"Kurt, knock it off." she scowled, feeling proud that she could break through her fear. She'll show him! Unfortunately, her sauciness caused him to chuckle with superiority. "Don't be like this, Kätzchen. You don't want me angry..." he purred, putting a hand on her shoulder. She jerked away and ran around the gym passing everyone ahead of her. Rally frowned at Kitty passing her and sped up to trip her. Kitty didn't even see Rally, she was so mad. She fell on her face to the floor and everyone started to laugh and some of Rally's followers kicked her. "HEY! HEY! STOP THAT!" Kurt roared, running towards to the fallen cat girl. Since the other kids respected him, they obeyed and watched.
"Are you alright, Ms. Pryde?" he asked, helping her into a sitting position. Kitty gasped at the pain shooting up her leg. "My ankle! It hurts!" she squeaked. Rally couldn't help repeating her in a high pitched whiney voice. The class tittered. "QUIET!" Kurt yelled, putting Kitty's arm around his neck and supported her as she stood on one foot. Kurt looked to Josh Tyler. "Josh, you're in charge until I get back. Just have them do sit ups and jump rope. Alright?" The teen idol by some nodded. He loved being the boss and never abused his position.
Once in the empty halls, Kurt said quietly, "I didn't want to kill Xavier last night you know. I had to for everyone's safety. Please don't be upset with me, you just don't know how horrible Apocalypse can be." Kitty tried to find justice in his words and halfway believed him. If he was really Kurt in a way, he had to have the right reason for wanting to kill the Professor. (heehee!) Maybe the Apocalypse was a real thing...
"And I'm sorry for threatening you last night, Kitty. I have a terrible temper, it's from my dad I guess. I'm not a bad guy, it's just things have to be done like that." he explained and apologized. Kitty brought a hand up to his cheek and petted it. It felt so smooth and soft like velvet. "I'm sorry too..." she said, knowing she better act like she was on his side otherwise he would try to hurt her or something. He did seem to be sincere about not wanting to kill the Professor and Xavier didn't die anyways. She wasn't going to tell him that though. She couldn't believe she was getting turned on by his voice and had a terrible urge to feel that fur again. Kurt laughed gently. "For what? Not appreciating my efforts?"
"Yes that," Kitty lied. "and for not being kinder to you, well in this dimension. I thought you were just pulling my leg, you know, fooling around. I didn't know you really liked me like that..." Kitty always liked older guys because she was stupid and evil, so she didn't have much trouble liking Kurt in naughty ways. "From what I read in 'my' diary, I would sail to the moon and back for you." he said, wondering if liking Kitty Pryde would work for him at all. He never cared much for her in his dimension, but in this dimension, all the girls were much prettier and not tainted from the damaging evils of AOA. They reached the office and Kurt asked for the nurse. The secretary, busy on the phone, told them that the nurse was out for the hour. Kurt said he'd take her to the nurse's office to help her ankle. The secretary nodded, not caring either way.
Kitty didn't get to see Kurt up close yet in broad daylight, so when they were alone, she asked him to turn the holo-watch off. "Why?" he asked, not liking the idea. Kitty shrugged. "I like wanted to see you as you are, Kurt. You in real muscles is a hot thing to see." she tittered, feeling school girl delight. He smirked. "Why are women always after my body? Very well." he said playfully and turned the holo-watch off. Kitty stared at his lean rippling muscles from the feet up. The tight body suit squeezing each yummy hot part of him made her drool. Fur coated each delicious muscle like a thin layer of the softest smoothest velvet and his tail was long, powerful, and playful, making him more desirable. That red tattoo over his left eye was wicked cool. The loveliest hue of blue too! His indigo long wavy locks were pouring over and around his face, creating the sexiest Kurty ever! HUNKY-POOOOO! ;)
"Kitty, you're blushing." he said then, snapping her out of her X rated daydream. "Huh! Oh, heheee! Sorry." she mumbled, feeling stupid. First she was extremely afraid of him, then mad, then head over heels. Do we sense a pattern of stupidity here? "Here, let me get this checked and fixed up here." he said, crouching down and took her shoe off. He pulled down the sock and felt her ankle a bit. For Kitty it was heaven. 'Yes yes! Touch me more!' she thought without realizing it. Does Kurty have this effect on all women? ;P
"Kurt, like, what happened to your accent?" she asked, having a hard time getting rid of that X rated daydream. He sighed tiredly. "Nothing. I just learned how to speak English without it. Do you want me to speak with my accent?" he said, then added jokingly, "Jeez, don't you ever wash yourself? You're flaking off everywhere." Kitty kicked him lightly with her other foot. "Shut up! Of course, if you want to that is. Your accent is really cute." She felt more comfortable with him then. 'He acts sorta like Kurt Kurt. Just more sexier and a lot meaner.'
"Vas ist das? My accent is cute? Surely, Liebchen you jest." he purred charmingly. She giggled. "I'm not kidding! Heeheee!" Kurt got back to his feet and stared at her face to face. "Kitty, I read something that kept repeating in that diary. Do you want to guess what it is?" he nearly whispered to her. She felt her cheeks get hot. "L-like no, tell me."
Kurt brought his lips close to hers and whispered, "I want to kiss her..."
Risty had no luck in getting Kitty to tell her what Kurt did, but she did say they patched things up. 'This is weird. Those X-brats are hiding important information from me!' she thought angrily. Ever since she found out about Mr. Darkholme being vice-principal and how he said Ms. Darkholme was his mother, she wanted to find out how in the world her 16 year old son got his holo-watch to make him look like a grown man and have a voice just like one too. And how is he doing this while he's supposed to be in Germany! She saw him go on the plane. Since she was sneaky and evil, she followed around monitoring everything she could on her son's actions. Risty half-way stalked Mr. Darkholme when school was over and followed him out of the school building. She was thankful that no one was with him and greeted him. "Hello, Mr. Darkholme! So glad to meet you and everything. I really really got to talk to you." she said quickly, unable contain her anger. If this was some kind of stupid trick by Xavier...
"Ah, hello. You must be Risty." he said, smiling. 'Charming, the kids all love me here. Oh well.' he thought irritably. He had work to do and he needed to find his mother, not chat with some school girl. "Yes, I am. Can we go somewhere private to talk? It's really important." she said, grabbing hold of his arm and dragging him further away from the school. Kurt tried to pull away, but she was stronger. Once they were near the woods behind the school, she pulled him a bit further so they would be out of sight. "Risty! What do you think you're doing?" he cried, not liking the dragging game she pulled.
"No, what do you think you're doing, Kurt!" she snarled, changing into her original form. She snatched the holo-watch from his wrist and expected to see her cute skinny son, but saw a very beautifully developed man with her son's features. "I-what? How-? You...?-" Mystique stuttered. Kurt's jaw dropped as he stared back. "Mother?" he gasped, feeling his heart fill up with love for her. She shook her head. "I don't know about that. My son's only 16 and you're definitely not that age."
"No, mom, you don't understand. Let me explain." Kurt then explained all on AOA and how he killed Xavier. Mystique's eyes opened wide with shock, surprise, and pride. "I see. This is how you would have turned out if I took care of you." she said, realizing she made a grave mistake of losing him to Magneto's wolves back on the bridge. "But, you did take care of me, in my dimension at least. You weren't a good woman and I don't expect you to be in a world like that. But I caught a lot of hell for your actions. Everyone hated me because of what you did, but it doesn't matter to me, mom. You WERE a wonderful mother to me and I love you." he said, hugging her tightly. She welcomed the hug and wrapped her arms around him to return the hug. "I missed you so much... Everyone's dead in my dimension, even Magneto and dad. I miss Margali too..." he said sadly in her hair. "Dad?" she repeated, already thinking of ways to use him. "Sabertooth, mom."
"Sabertooth! Ugh, er, I mean, how nice! That must mean you inherited his fighting skills and blood lust?" she asked hopefully. Kurt laughed. "I guess you can say that. I'm the way you taught me to be. Mother, I need your help in training the Brotherhood. Since Apocalypse will not be problem anymore, the humans will be and we have to take measures to survive. And I'll have to keep those 'X-Men' in check as well." Mystique liked this. This was the son she always wanted! "Of course, my son. Come with me..." she said, giving back his holo-watch and she morphed into a different woman and leading him to the Brotherhood Boarding home.
At the mansion that night, Kitty didn't talk much at dinner and had a dreamy happy look on her face even though she hurt her stupid ankle. Scott asked her if Kurt tried to get her at gym, but she assured him nothing bad happened and told him not to worry. "I guess he was just kidding about hurting us. I like got to go do my homework, Scott. I'll talk to you later." she said, dancing off to her room. Jean came to Scott's side and said, "Boy, she's acting weird. Do you think Kurt-?" Scott held up his hand. "Nah, I doubt he did anything to her. I saw her talking with Jason, that's probably why she's acting strange. I just want to forget the whole thing with 'evil Kurt', you know? The Professor's recovering without a problem and that maniac doesn't have to know." Jean nodded her horrible evil head, agreeing. "You're right. After Logan gave his blood to help the healing process go a lot faster for Xavier, I'm not so worried for his life anymore. Plus, if evil Kurt wanted to really hurt us, he would have done it by now. Hey, do you want to go to Kimmy's house to play with her new computer? It has that game you like installed on it."
"But Logan said we shouldn't leave the mansion after school..." Scott protested, but changed his mind. He did say he wanted to forget this whole horrible ordeal with evil Kurt and Jean had to be right about him wanting to hurt them, he would have done it by now. So what the heck! He and she left quickly, hoping no one would care.
Up in her room, which she shared with Rogue, Kitty sat at her desk trying to finish up her math homework as Rogue sat on her bed looking at magazines. Kitty wondered what it was Rogue absorbed from AOA Kurt that made her freak out like that. Could the AOA really be that terrible? It seemed to add up though, Rogue acted like she was experiencing hell and Kurt had warned the others about Apocalypse being truly terrible. 'He like must have really been telling the truth!' she squeaked in thought, unable to concentrate on her homework. "Rogue, do you remember any of those memories you accidentally absorbed from Kurt...?" she asked, turning around in her seat to see her.
Rogue frowned at her and closed her mag with a disgusted sigh. "Yah, a few, but Ah don't want to. The Proff blocked most of them from mah mind and Ah'm glad. What Ah saw was hell on earth and Ah'm NOT kiddin' ya."
"So, you like believe everything he said was true about the AOA?" Kitty had to ask. Rogue made a mean face and turned around so she wouldn't be facing Kitty anymore. "Well, duh! Ah saw what Ah saw and Ah'm tellin' ya, that's enough proof for me to believe it. Now, hush up and leave me alone. Ah'm trying to read here."
Kitty stuck her tongue out at her roommate's back and turned around in her seat too. Since she wanted to keep thinking about Kurt and that wonderful kiss they shared in the office, she closed her math book and opened her diary instead.
Rogue sighed angrily hearing Kitty giggle every once and awhile. She stormed out of the room to read her mag downstairs in the rec room. Kitty was glad she left and giggled some more as she wrote her favorite parts of her first mature kiss. Well, that's what she liked to call it. A mature kiss and she believed it made her a woman somehow. Stupid Kitty!:P
She wondered if she should write a lemon about her and AOA Kurt, just because she was super crazy at this point, blind with what she thought was love for him. 'I like could post it on ! Yeah, people will love me...! I'll like make the best romance and lemon fics ever!' she thought, chewing the eraser off her pencil. A weird and scary thing she does when she's excited. She got a so-called 'better' idea. She'll write him a love letter!
She giggled like an idiot for several minutes before calming down to write something legible. 'Like okie, here I like go! Like!' she giggled some more and wrote 'Dear' then stopped. 'Oooh! How should I address him? If I put down Kurt, Kurt might get it and think I love him when he's the wrong version. Whoa, now that's totally freaky... Uhh, I'll just call him 'my dearest love' instead.' She erased 'Dear' and put 'My dearest love,' instead. 'Like, yah! Yah, that's perfect! Where should I begin to tell him how much I have the hots for him?...'
Kitty wrote her love letter and it became three pages long. "Oh well, he won't mind reading this long letter I'm sure." she squawked and stuffed it into her backpack.
BEEP! BEEP! "Oh that stupid clock!" Kitty yelled, phasing her hand through it and looked at the time. She was so late it wasn't funny! "ARGH!" she screamed, phasing through wall after wall to head to the bathroom to get ready for school. When she returned to her room, she hastily shoved an extra sweater in her backpack, but there was too much junk and paper inside. She yanked the extra papers and an empty bottle of Speed Cola out onto the floor and phased downstairs. Storm happened to pass Kitty and Rogue's room and saw the mess on the floor. She sighed and went to clean it up and noticed an envelope with Kurt's name on it. She shrugged and took it to Kurt's room and put it on his dresser. "Kitty must have forgotten to put it in here or mail it, I guess. But she doesn't have an address on it, so she must just want to give it to him when he gets back." Storm murmured to herself and went to the kitchen for some tea. The phone rang and the beautiful lady answered it. "Hello?"
"Ororo? It's me, Kurt! I'm coming home early and I'll be at the airport soon. Can you or Logan come to pick me up?" Kurt asked, obviously on a cell phone in the plane. "Of course, Kurt. Xavier, Logan, and I will come to get you. Don't worry. Oh by the way, Kitty wrote you a letter, I put it on your dresser for you." Storm replied. Kurt sounded surprised. "REALLY! Oh, cool! Great, I'll see you then at the airport in an hour. Don't tell anyone I'm coming back early, I vant to surprise them. Bye!"
As soon as Kurty got back to the mansion, he bamfed to his room the second he entered the front doors. He looked to his dresser and saw it. With trembling fingers and excitement running through him, he opened the envelope and began to read the letter. She wrote how much she enjoyed the time they spent together at school and some weird things that didn't make sense. "Vas red tattoo? Hmm, maybe she vants me to get one? I'll do anything for you, my Kitty!" he squeaked with joy. After three full pages of her expressing her intense love for him got him so frisky, he knew he had to bury acorns. It was a secret of his, to pretend to be a squirrel and bury the biggest acorns he could find in the backyard. :P
After he buried several large acorns and took a long happy shower, he was ready to face Kitty. The gang would be home soon and he couldn't wait to see them all. Especially Kitty now, since she admitted her love to him finally! WOO-HOO!
"Elf! Get down from that chandelier now!" Logan yelled up at the swinging blue boy. Kurt bamfed down and hopped about. "I'm sorry, Logan, I'm just so happy!" he cried, wriggling his tail in delight. Logan grinned. "Yeah, I know. You're glad to be home and we're happy to have you back. You're a good kid, Squirrel. Remember, 5AM, Danger Room." Kurt saluted. "Yes sir!" Logan walked off, as Kurt prepared himself on what to say to Kitty when he would get a chance to be alone with her.
As she worried in the front seat of Scott's car going back home, Kitty hoped no one found her love letter to AOA Kurt. She would just die! Scott was in a bad mood due to the fact AOA Kurt had helped the Brotherhood get him tricked into the men's room to get flushed several times before Lance got bored of it and wanted to throw rocks (that he had in a bag) at him instead. Luckily, AOA Kurt didn't allow that, but later, outside, he did trip Scott and made him run right into a tree. Jean, of course, tried to help Scott, but Todd slimed her and she ran off screaming. She still hadn't gotten all the goo out of her hair and she was just as mad. Evan wasn't any happier. AOA Kurt set him up so Pietro could make a fool of him in front of Cindy. How dare he yank down his pants like that! Rogue was silent, but less moody than usual. Scott suspected it was AOA Kurt had cancelled a suspension when she had punched Trissy in the gut for some unknown reason. Since he was the vice principal (and worse yet, the principal when Kelly had to be at those meetings to be senator), he had the authority to do such things. 'He's trying to get on Rogue's good side! I'm going to have to steer her straight soon...' Scott told himself as he turned up onto the road that lead to the mansion.
Scott knew this was the last straw when he nearly plowed down someone in the way of the driveway. He slammed on the brakes and the others in the car began to complain and question. "Why'd you stop like that!" Evan roared, rubbing his face where it had hit the back of the front seat. Scott looked to where the person was standing, but he or she was gone...
"I bet it was Kurt. He probably found out the Proff isn't dead and came back to finish what he started." Jean scowled, angry that her perfect hair was ruined due to Todd's sliming and the abrupt stop in Scott's car. "Like, no way! He'd never come back to do what he did the first time, he's over it!" Kitty protested loudly. A little too loudly...
Scott turned to Kitty face to face. "Why are you sticking up for that monster? Don't tell us you like him!" he cried, giving her the menacing disapproving superior-teacher look. Kitty tried to cover up her blunder by denying it and then agreeing with everything Scott said. "Like, of course, I won't go near him! You know that! Sheesh!" she whined, racing off to her room. "Gotta go and do my homework! Later!" she called scaling the stairs three steps at a time.
Evan complained about his face hurting and remembered he forgot to set TiVo for Direct TV to record Justice League. He ran to the rec room and promptly screamed, "I missed it! I missed the 2nd half of Green Lantern's trial! NO!"
Scott sighed with a defeated look on his face. He noticed Rogue head towards to the rec room to fight over the remote with Evan and wondered if possibly she liked AOA Kurt too. What was he going to do if she did? She was very hard headed and wouldn't listen to his warnings. He wondered what to do as Jean slapped his butt and growled. "Well? Aren't you going to take me out to dinner?" Double sigh.
Kitty prissily skipped to her room and happily replayed the scene with Scott how she got him to leave her alone about liking AOA Kurt. She phased through her door and gasped. There was Kurt, not AOA Kurt, sitting on her bed holding three familiar looking pages of paper...
"Surprise, Kitty!" he peeped, tail flicking like a squirrel's. Kitty calmed down from her shock and disappointment and gave him a weak smile. "Oh, hi, Kurt! I didn't like know you were coming back so early! Tee hee hee!" she giggled like a nerd. Kurt smiled fondly at her. "I got your letter..." he purred, eyes glowing in the dim light. Kitty felt like she was going to drop through the floor and she almost did! She stopped herself from phasing and nervously replied, "Y-you did...?"
"Ja..." he said, eyes twinkling with joy. He held the letter as if it was life support. "Kitty, I'm so happy you admitted your love to me. I love you too!" He bamfed to be closer to her. Kitty wished she could find out how in the world he found the love letter and kill him. "Er, s-so, how did you find this...?" she asked, fingering the papers, wanting to turn back time and erase this from happening. Kurt placed the love letter on a nearby table and took Kitty's hands into his. "Storm gave it to me. Oh, Kitty! You've made me so happy! I vant to hold you and hug you forever!" he cried with joy and before Kitty could blink, the fuzzball hugged her so cutely, it made her think differently of him.
'Like, wow! This is pretty nice...' she thought, actually liking his skinny warm arms around her. The fur and soft indigo hair was the same wonderful texture as AOA Kurt's fur and hair. Everything felt the same like AOA Kurt, but there was extra cuteness everywhere. 'Like, duh! He is the same guy, in a way! What are you complaining about? Kurt's sexy no matter what, so like kiss him already!' she screamed at her stupid self. She put her arms around him then instead of away and hugged him back. She heard a faint strange noise that sounded like purring coming from Kurt, then she realized he was actually purring just like a cat! 'Double cool! Kurt sounds like my favorite animal!' she gurgled in thought. She giggled and they pulled a part some to look at one another. "Like, Kurt, are you purring?" Kurt blushed sweetly, looking embarrassed. "...eh heh heh, ja... I can purr." he replied in a hot voice that made Kitty drool. "That's like, um, so cool! Can you do it again?" she asked, smiling for real now. "Sure, Fräulein." he agreed, grinning, flashing his sharp fangs. "But only vhen ve hug..." Kitty giggled and they hugged once again, but this time Kitty had the side of her head pressed firmly against his chest to hear that sweet purring up close. Kurt was on cloud nine having her near him like that, in his arms, head against his chest. He couldn't think of anything better other than kissing, burgers, sleeping, and intercourse. He decided he'd show her his strong feelings right then with the best first kiss he could muster. Kitty allowed it to compare it to AOA Kurt's kiss and because she started to really like this Kurt equally as the other. Soft, gentle, but extremely passionate. She concluded that both kisses were almost exactly the same. She was sure she could feel innocence only in Kurt's kiss than AOA Kurt's. That purring only got louder and his furry tail was beginning to grope. She grabbed that naughty tail and held onto it tightly. "Ouch, Kitty." Kurt squeaked, making a cute sad face. "My tail..."
"Don't get any funny ideas, Kurt. If we start anything; 1. Wolverine would kill us. 2. You'll only want more. 3. Rogue or anyone could walk in on us and well the list goes on and on." Kurt got a lewd glimmer in his golden eye. "Kitty, such a terrible thing to accuse me of! I'm hurt! Heheee!" he teased, advancing squirrelly. She shrieked with delight and ran away, letting him chase her out of the room downstairs. He tackled her mid-way and they nearly fell down the stairs if Kurt hadn't 'ported them to safety on the living room couch. Kitty felt happy and excited from his chasing and rewarded him with a long kiss. That purring again! So hunky-poooo!
"What's this? It better not be hanky-panky!" roared Logan popping open a can of Budweiser. Kurt jumped to his feet as Kitty remained on the couch. "No no no! It's nothing like that! Ve're being good, ja ja!" Kurt said quickly and nervously.
"Well, alright then, but if I see anything suspicious, it's paddling time for both of you!" Logan went away, finally. When the coast was clear, Kurt turned around with a squirrelly grin and looked like he was going to pounce on Kitty. She giggled and let him chase her some more in the living room. Then he caught her and snuggled happily. "I love you, Kitty." he peeped, scrubbing his fuzzy cheek against hers. She gave him a hug and a quick kiss. "Me too. Like, I got to go and do my homework, Kurt. You can, um, uh..." She looked around and noticed Evan had rented a horror tape just yesterday and grabbed it. "You can watch this. Evan got it yesterday, it's a new release I think."
Kurt squeaked with joy. "Oh, man! This is the Horror of Gloop movie! I got to see this!" He ran to the VCR and promptly fed the tape into the machine. Kitty smiled and went off to her room to do as she said, but she wanted to think over her thoughts. 'Maybe it'll be better for me to like Kurt Kurt, than AOA Kurt, since he's from my dimension and all, plus Wolverine will let me hang around Kurt Kurt. Ugh, this is just getting too complicated for me!' she groaned in thought and closed the door behind her in her room.
Once in her room she happily layed on her bed and squealed into her pillows. She was glad Rogue was still downstairs fighting with Evan on who ate the last donut. She turned over and sighed, closing her eyes. She squeezed her hands into fists, pinching her blankets unable to contain her joy. Being in love was a fun thing!
BAMF! Kitty opened her eyes, smiling, knowing it was Kurt. "Like, Kurt, you know the rules. And I thought you were watching that stupid horror movie." she said in a scolding tone. Kurt made a face. "It is not stupid. But anyways, ja, I know, but I can't stand not being with you every second now. I decided to watch the horror later and see this really cool movie that's playing right now, vant to go see it?" He went up to her and embraced her. "Well, it like depends. What's it called?" she asked, patting his fuzzy cheek to feel that soft velvet fur. "Snow Dogs. From the commercials, it seems like a cool movie." Kurt nuzzled her then, causing her to giggle. "Kurt, knock it off! That tickles, hee hee!" She tapped his nose affectionately. "Okie, sure, I wanted to go see that movie ever since it came out. Just let me change. No, Kurt, you have to leave the room. Turning around isn't going to cut it, you horny furball."
Kurt sighed defeated. "Just vhen I was sure I'd get a peek. Alright, then my Liebchen, I'll give you some privacy, but I vill return! Ha ha ha!" He faked evil laughter and bamfed to whereever. 'He's probably hiding behind the door, that squirrel.' she thought in playful resentment and quickly changed her outfit, not remembering Logan's strict rule not to leave the mansion after school. Of course, teenagers never listen to their elders and soon Kurt had Kitty bamfed to the garage and in a car that the Prof had given him since Scott didn't trust Kurt driving his fancy sports car. The Snow Dogs movie was great! Kitty never had a better time at the movies, especially with Kurt. They gave each other snufflie kisses every now and then during the movie. Such cuteness! Kurt was so happy, that he felt like he would burst with joy. Kitty began to realize that she had a lot in common with Kurt that she never cared to find out before. Even though she had some feelings for Lance, Kurt was easily winning those feelings over to his side instead. He was caring, sweet, cute, fuzzy, had that sexy accent, a really nice tight butt, and a very proud chest that she now enjoyed laying her head against. Plus more!
After the movie, the two agreed to find more about each other while taking a stroll in the park. Kitty was interested to know a lot about Kurty. She only knew him for a year and thought she already knew everything there is to know about him, but she was so wrong. Since she was a twit, she easily fell for AOA Kurt's sexy manly-ness, but never looked deeper than that. She began to figure out that liking AOA Kurt in a silly crush was dangerous. Loving original sweet Kurty was not. 'Like, do I really like Kurt for real? I mean, more than like? I wrote all those things in the love letter because I was in school-girl delight. AOA Kurt probably would have seen through it and could have laughed at me. Maybe it was good Storm gave Kurt my love letter...' Kitty was thinking over her stupidness when Kurt asked her a question.
"Huh? Oh, sorry, Kurt. I didn't mean-, er what did you like say again?" She looked to him, seeing a totally different Kurty. He wasn't that icky hyper annoying immature teasing goof off that she thought he was. He was a cool caring sensitive nice guy that had the hots for her. He wasn't teasing her when he said he liked her, he meant it! 'And all this time, I thought he was making fun of me. Hmph, go figure.' she thought, missing his question again.
"Kitty?" He looked worried. She felt a sudden chill come over her. "Like, I'm so sorry, Kurt. What did you say?" Kitty tried to shake that feeling of dread, but it wouldn't go away. Kurt didn't get mad, he only smiled softly. "I was asking if you vanted to go back to the car und go home to read comic books. You're shaking, Kätzchen. Vas ist vrong?" He put his arms around her in a protective manner, as if shielding her from whatever was out there.
"I'm- I'm alright, Kurt. Yeah, let's go back to the car and go home." Kurt gave her a quick hug and lead her back to the car. A shadow raced ahead of them in the darkness unseen.
Meanwhile, Storm was alone in her room, reading a book peacefully in her bed. Suddenly, her door, which was opened a little, shut by itself. "What? Who's there?" Storm cried out, trying to get to her feet. A weird smelling cloth was pressed against her mouth and she struggled to escape. But the fumes on the rag caused her to pass out. Her kidnapper took her out of her room at lightning speeds...
Just as they got to the car, Kitty saw AOA Kurt leaning against the driver's side door, smiling scornfully. Kurt couldn't believe his eyes at first. "Vho are you!" he squeaked, totally shocked seeing someone who appeared to look exactly like him, but much older. Kitty froze with fear and just then remembered Logan's warnings not to leave the mansion. She knew why, but didn't want to worry about the danger. It didn't seem like AOA Kurt would attack her since they were so friendly together, but now something didn't feel right and she tell that AOA Kurt was angry about something, despite his smiling.
"So, Kitten, having fun with your boyfriend?" AOA Kurt said sourly, not knowing Kurt was Kurt due to the holo-watch image. Kitty tried pulling Kurt away. "Uhh, l-let's get out of here..." she stammered to Kurt, afraid for their lives now. 'He, like, must have figured out about Xavier! He's going to punish us all!' she thought in fright.
"Kitty, VHO is he?" Kurt demanded. Kitty tugged at his arm harder. "No, forget it, let's go!" Kurt thrust his hand out at his look-alike. "How can ve? He's leaning against our car." Kitty shook her head. "We'll just walk home, I-"
AOA Kurt moved out of the way. "No, no, you don't have to do that. Here, I'm out of the way. Just checking up on you Kitten. That's all." he said, then bamfed out of sight. Kurt gawked at the spot where AOA Kurt stood. "Was that ME!" he squeaked, unable to believe it. Kitty looked downward. "Yeah... He's our vice-principal and gym teacher at school too... We didn't want to tell you right away or anything. He's supposed to be you from some other dimension that he says is the Age of Apocalypse."
"Age of Apocalypse?" Kurt cried, staring at her then. "Another dimension? How'd he get here? Vas ist the Age of Apocalypse? Huh?" Kitty sighed and took a deep breath and explained everything in the car as they went home. When they were back at the mansion safe and sound, Kurt's head was spinning.
