It was night aboard Voyager.

The two people laying in bed were clinging to each other. So afraid of loosing each other.

Suddenly the woman stirred a little.

"Chakotay?"

"Mmh?" The man pulled her closer.

"Will you marry me?"

"No" came the sleepy reply.

"Why not?" she asked nestling her head deeper into his shoulder.

"Because I'm already married to the most beautiful wife."

"I love you, too."

"I know Kathryn, now go back to sleep." He gently placed a kiss on her forehead and both of them felt back into peaceful slumber.

She sometimes needed his reassurance.
