I ONLY HAVE EYES FOR YOU GUYS
I see you.
Your gaze flickering toward me.
You are hesitant.
Stationary.
Worried.
Just like I am.
You don't realise how much you shine, the sunlight tinting you in the afternoon light.
the rest around you are jealous of that which you possess.
A significance.
A reverie, a picture painted presence.
Now, bathed in colour, you hold my gaze.
You daren't speak.
You can't.
You needn't.
Actions speak louder than words,
As I bath you in love,
You sparkle with a kind of lucid effervescence.
Even when water falls, you keep on growing and growning and growing and
"Carter!" the gaze falls from both of us.
"How many times have I told you to stop talking to those damn plants!"
She ignores the shouting for a moment, leaning further and whispering.
"He, can never come between us."
