Hey Sorry about the wait well here it is the last chapter FINALLY Goku finds the right words. Disclaimer: I don't own nothing! Chapter 3 The Right Words

Now it was Bulma's turn to blink, "What are you talking about today is Thanksgiving."

Chichi froze, "what." She breathed,

"WHAT IN THE WORLD GOKU WHERE IN THE HELL IS THE CALENDER."

Chichi looked at the Calendar in horror it was Thanksgiving. How could she mess this up, of all days she picks this one to get a day behind. As reality hit Chichi and it did, she slipped to the ground tears forming in her eyes. "How could I mess up, this bad." She whispered. The crew started in a shocked tone. What was going on why was Chichi so upset.

Goku sat next to his wife putting an arm around her shoulder. "It will be fine Chi don't cry like this it's not that bad we'll fix it." He said pulling her to her feet. But Chichi just fell back to the ground in defeat. "I wanted this to be special, I wanted it to be with our friends and our family a time of togetherness and fun and food. A time we could all be happy and remember for a long long time." Goku shook his head, "No Chichi your wrong it will be all that and more I promise we'll just.."

"Forget it Goku just forget everything!" Chichi yelled as she violently pushes Goku away and ran to her room. Goku just stood and watched. Finally Bulma walked up to Goku speaking in a calm tone. "I didn't mean to upset her. What happened?"
Chichi sat in her room about 2 hours had past and she was sure that all their friends would be gone. But then why did she keep hearing laughter and bangs coming from downstairs. She sat up on her bed and then walked to the door slightly opening it so she could hear better. It was definitely laughter and bangs it sounded like the bangs of her pots and pans to her. What in the world.. Chichi thought as she slowly walked out of the room and down the stairs. Hiding in the shadows, Chichi's eyes were wide open as she saw her family and friends in front of her.

They were all making food or trying to anyway. And each and every one of them had a smile on their face. She could even see Vegeta kneading dough although to her it looked more like he was punching the hell out of it, yet he did have a hidden smirk. A smile crossed Chichi face when she saw Goten and Trunks chopping the carrots and vegetables, and then Bulma stirring the stuffing and her Goku. Goku was staring through the oven door looking at the turkey. His eyes were lit up with anticipation and she could hear his stomach growling and the group burst into laughter, a small giggle escaped her as well. The others couldn't hear her but Goku and Vegeta turned and looked her right in the eye. Vegeta let out a grunt and Goku a smile.
He walked over to her everyone still engaged in their food making and he wrapped his arms around her. "I promised didn't I." He whispered to her and hugged her tightly. "You did and I thank you from the bottom of my heart Goku but. where did you get all this food?" Goku looked at her a little funny and answered, "Bulma of course."

Chichi smiled and jumped into Goku's arms, "Oh Goku thank you so much it will all be fine now!"

Goku nodded and let Chichi go join the others in making the food at hopefully soon they would all eat.

An hour or so later the dinning room table was set and the friends and family were all taking their seats. There was a table were Goten, Trunks, and Gohan were sitting. Then the larger table consisted of Bulma, Vegeta, Yamcha, Piccolo, Krillen, and Master Roshi. There was no more room for Chichi or Goku because their dinning room table only fit 6, so they sat at the kitchen table together. Finally it was time to say what everyone was thankful for, Bulma spoke at her table, Gohan at his, and before Chichi could protest Goku said he would be the one to tell her what he was thankful for. Goku looked at his hands that were folded in front of him. 'ok Goku this is your chance don't blow it!' He looked up to Chichi and smiled, "I know that the most thankful thing in this world that people can have is friends and family. Because that's all people really need. But..I'm a little more selfish than that chi. I love my friends and our sons, I love them with all the love a person can give. But theirs only one person who ever gave me more love than anyone else. Who loved me more than themselves and whom I loved in return the same way. She was always with me ever sense I can remember it has been me and her the too of us always together." He paused and returned his gaze to Chichi who looked at him a bit shockingly, he could tell if he keep going tears would start he could tell from the look in her eyes.

" She was always hard on me, for all the right reasons and I always acted like I had no idea why she was hard on me but deep down I knew the reasons. And I had always wished that things would have been different but they never were and she always respected that she understood. But still she was sad about it. I wanted to make promises to her that things would be alright that I wouldn't leave her the next time but I knew that I would break them, so in order not to break her heart I said nothing and ended up breaking it anyway."

"I didn't tell her very often how much I loved her but she knew. I wanted to tell her every time I saw her sparkling eyes but I didn't. It was because each time I saw her I could feel the love I had for that woman grow, and to this day when I see her I feel it growing inside my heart. I was afraid that the same feeling that I had in my heart was not in hers. But I found soon enough it was. It had always been there yet I was too blind to see it."

" She had always felt that way and I had felt the same and it took me this long to say it all to her. And I love her even more now than I ever have seeing her looking at me now. Tears steaming down her soft skin. I know she thinks she isn't a big part of my life and that she may even think that I love saving the world more than her. But in some ways that's true because to me...to me saving the world means saving her, because to me this old syaian man, she has always been and always will be the only world I can ever save. You Chichi are what I am most thankful for there is no doubt."

He had been right she was crying now a smile crossed his face he finally got it all out.

Chichi looked up to her husband and whipped the tears away.

"But Goku why didn't you just tell me before?" She said a smile emerging from her face her eyes red and puffy.

Goku walked over to her and kissed her forehead. "I know I should have said something and now chi I finally found the right words."
