The Day You Died.
Katsuki Michiru: As everyone knows, I DON’T OWN ZOIDS!
Jin: Okay, a little explanation is in order. 1: The pilot of the Berserk Fury is actually Vega, but his mind is being controlled.
It had been two years since Bit Cloud had died. Leena was still in deep depression, ever picture the Blitz Team had of him, was framed or ripped apart by Leena. Leena’s hair was still the same fiery red, like her eyes. Brad looked the same too, as did everyone else. It was nighttime. Leena had still had so much trouble getting to sleep at night. Images of the Cloud she so desperately loved appeared when she closed her eyes. His screams could still be heard, the Liger’s pained roars, then the silence. A jealous and psycho zoid pilot had shot Bit, right through the chest, about a half an inch away from the heart. Then, the Liger was shot down and destroyed by the new, psychotic Berserk Fury. Leena fell asleep.

“Oh my God!” Shouted Bit as he dodged a bullet. “What’s your problem?” “You... you are my problem... you shall die, here and now, Bit Cloud... I MUST KILL YOU!” The man shouted. Bit stood there, frozen in fear. “Can’t we talk it out?” Bit asked. “No way, you asshole! You should just DIE!” Bit, as if he were standing in quicksand, couldn’t move. He felt this horrible pain as the bullet ripped through his skin. The hole seemed to get bigger and bigger, it burned and ate away at his skin. He screamed and hit the ground. “D-Damn you...” Bit mumbled. Leena rushed over to him. “Leena, I-I’m not gonna make it, win battles for me, think of me from time to time, never forget that... I love you.” He smiled, then cringed, he grabbed his chest as the wound got deeper, wide and began to burn rapidly. Then, the burns hit his heart making a hole. He died. The Liger was suddenly hit in the side. “Vega! Stop! Bit’s dead!” “I’m NOT Vega, I may look like Vega, but I have no sense of honor, I want the Liger Zero destroyed and off the face of Zi.” Explosives rained from the sky on to the Liger, they blew up on contact, acid poured from a gun on the Berserk Fury’s back, eating the Liger’s armor, then eventually, eating the Liger. Liger roared, pained. Then, stopped roaring stopped everything, then it exploded. Leena, heartbrokenly, cut a piece of Bit’s hair off and took out her mother’s locket, which her mother had given to her before she died. She stuck the golden lock in the locket, closed it and kneeled next to Bit’s lifeless body. “You... you didn’t deserve this, God damn you! Give Bit back to me! Let him live!” She shouted. “Damn it! No, Bit, you can’t be. NO!”

Leena woke up, a cold sweat running down her face. “Damn you, who ever you are, you took my one true love away from me.” She got up and dressed. She snuck into the hanger, got into Bit’s old car and drove to the cemetery. She walked around until she saw a headstone that said, “Here lies Bit Cloud: 1985-2002. Aged 17.” She cried. Dead red roses sat over where he was buried. Leena cleared them away, but saw a card. She picked it up and read. “To my son, Bit Cloud, I can’t bring myself to accept I let you die. I have been apart of the Backdraft for twelve years, but now, I’ve quit. I miss you so much. I know you can’t read this card anymore, but maybe someone will read it to you. I’ll see you in Heaven. ~~ Katsuki Cloud~” Leena places new roses on Bit’s grave. “I love you Bit; I miss you SO much!” Leena breaks down. Someone touches her shoulder. She turned around. It was the rest of the Blitz Team, Leon, and Harry. Leon rested his hand on his sister’s shoulders. He would have made a great brother in law Leon thought. Leena got up and hugged Leon. “I miss him too, Leena, I miss him too.”
As they were leaving, Leena heard a voice. She stopped walking and turned around. A totally transparent, completely white, Bit Cloud stood there. It seemed that time had stopped, everything was gray and the others stopped moving. Leena backed away. Bit frowned. “It’s me, Bit, oh wow, this is kind of embarrassing, but do you have a cookie?” He said. “Uhm, Bit?” She asked. “How are you here, you’re dead.” “I’ve come back for a total of five minutes, to part with the world, I’ve never really gotten over the fact I’m dead.” Bit said. “I wanted to say goodbye, I love you, and keep your head up, trust me, we’ll meet again.” “Whoa! Wait a minute, you’re not here to kill me, are you?” Leena shouted. She covered her mouth quickly. “Don’t worry, they can’t hear you. They’re frozen, remember?” “Right, Bit, before you have to leave, will you do me a favor?” “What?” “Kiss me.” Bit kissed Leena, then disappeared. His voice called out to her one last time. “I love you, Leena, don’t you forget me now!” “I won’t Bit, I won’t.” She whispered. Wind whirled around her. “He’s the wind, my love and the clouds in the sky, he’s my world, I love you, Bit Cloud.” She said, and ran up to the others. As they pulled away, Leena remembered what he had said, ‘We’ll meet again.’ Hopefully, we’ll meet soon. Thought Leena. Soon, Leena, life is shorter than you think...
End.
