Anyhoo, this is a poem thingy in Yuugi's POV. We just wanted to see if we could still even WRITE poetry, considering we haven't written any in a while... UU;;; Enjoy!

Stay With Me

I feel you smile at me with crimson eyes so bright

And wonder if these times will never stop

Relaxing in your warm embrace

I let my troubles wear and fade away

In the arms of my protector

My other

Time seems to slow

And I revel in the thought that this moment will never end

But now, the world draws you away from me

Your destiny calling

And I am left here in the darkness

Crying silent tears as you slip away

You fight for sake of memories,

For peace and all that's true

Yet cannot hear my soulful cry

As I call out to you

What happened to that promise?

The one we made that day

You said you'd be with me always

But now it seems that you've forgotten

You're haunted by your memories

Refuse to let them go

I told you I would give you mine

So we'd always be together

To find your long lost past

You must forsake the future

Tell me

Is it really worth forsaking us?

We can find our own happiness

Live our lives together

No one's stopping it

So why do you still press onward?

Does this mean that much to you?

I'm willing to respect your choice

No matter how much it pains me to do so

My happiness is never worth your sorrow

You are my other

A piece of my own soul

My life will always retain meaning

So long as I may be by your side

And so, I choose to stick by your decision

To join in hopes of aiding you on your quest

For even if you must leave me in the end

I know you'll somehow keep that promise

And you shall stay with me...

Kai: *looks over to the puddles of goo, shrugs, and turns back to the t.v.*

Minna: 0.0! NANDE KUSO? KAI- WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?

Kai: I already have my own personal bottle of maple syrup! *huggles syrup bottle* ARIGATO, AKARI-KOIIIIIIII~! *huggles Akari*

Akari: *pales* MY HAIR! *sob sob* There's syrup all over my wonderful golden hair... U.U
