"Case closed," Catherine whispered, and ran her fingers through her hair. How could this happen? It was a complete surprise. She'd even told herself that it wasn't true, but then she heard his words in her head, "The evidence never lies." Well, she had the evidence, the problem was believing it. She thought of hiding it, but knew that would never work. She'd just have to tell him the whole thing and hope for a good reaction. Hope he'd be okay with it. Opening the door to his office she stood there for a moment before saying, "Gil, I'm pregnant."
