Tigercat: I just thought of the ending but I wanted to write it for a fic but I was to lazy to write a long fic so I thought I'd just write this

Gone Forever?

He's gone. So, I cried. I cried a lot. We had lost him and it was my fault, he had tried to save me. He should have let me die but, he didn't and now he's gone. I remember how everyone told him to stop but, being the heroic type he didn't listen. I still remember the look on his face; he wasn't scared or worried, he was happy. He gave one last smile and then he left us.

He left us before I had a chance. Before I had a chance to tell him how much I cared. Sure, I acted cold towards him, threw insults and even threatened him sometimes but I really cared and still do. I loved him, more than he ever knew, more than anyone knew and now I'm pretty sure he loved me too.

Of course I knew he loved me, the way he acted towards me. And that last smile he gave me it wasn't his normal smile no, it was one of love. The love I yearned for, that I knew he could give me but, never had the chance.

I don't remember how we got into that position but he knew handle it. I remember that like it was yesterday....

"Rika! Hold on Rika! I'm coming!" Ryo (Justimon) yelled.

"No, Ryo you'll be killed!" Takato (Gallantmon) screamed and grabbed Ryo before he could get anywhere.

"Do I look like I care? Rika needs help Takato and I'm gonna give to her so, let go!" Ryo screamed as he pulled Takato's fingers of his shoulder.

"Please don't Ryo, Rika will be crushed if one of her friends died just to save her!" Jeri yelled from beside Takato.

"Yeah well, she'll literally be crushed if I don't save her! I've made up my mind so, good-bye!" Ryo said and ran off towards the evil mass of data holding Rika (Sakuyamon).

As soon as Ryo the evil creature he raised his blade and cut off the vine that was holding and by doing so destroyed the creature's inner core and digimantainer. After that the tamers that had bio-merged, de-bio-merged and then all the digimon slowly disappeared.

"Rika, are you okay?" Ryo asked breathing heavily.

"I should ask you the same thing." Rika replied and gasped, "Ryo! You're disappearing!"

"What?" Ryo looked at himself and then back at her like he knew what was happening.

They just stared at each other for a while. Then Ryo moved his head back and gave Rika a loving smile, "Good-bye Rika. Oh and I'm sorry for making the digimon leave I hope you can forgive me." Was all he said before disappearing.

"Ryo.......of course I forgive you.......RYO!"

I forgive him I hope he knows that. I know I will see Renamon again so I just had to forgive him.

I hear Takato calling me from the ground and I get of the tree to see Henry and Jeri with sad faces and I know they were thinking about it too. Well obviously they are we come here every Saturday to remember him. But, me I come here to remember his last smile the smile I will remember forever.

We walk up to the place we he disappeared and just when we arrive we see a digital portal disappearing and standing in its place is...
"Ryo!"
Maybe that wasn't his last smile after all.
