Pairing: this will be and Aragorn/ Legolas pairing.
Disclaimer: I own nothing
Author's notes: before we go on with the story I just want to say this will be a sad ending. This may sound like Romeo and Juliet at first but it's not supposed to be.
Forbidden Love
For an elf to love a mere mortal was to love doom itself. For an elf from mirkwood to love an elf from Rivendell meant exile. But for a Mirkwood elf to love a mortal brought up in Rivendell… well that… that was forbidden.
Prologue
Rivendell and Mirkwood were and always had been equal in all they had in common. Power and beauty were just two of the many things that the two mighty elvish kingdoms had to offer. By daylight the thick forest's that the two kingdoms were built into glowed every color imaginable, from greens to yellows and pinks. By night the moon cast a silvery blue blanket over the cities and the magical glow it created could be seen for miles. Yet the two kingdoms had, as far as anyone could remember, despised of one another, and while no one knew the exact reason one thing they knew was to never cross into the other.
Rivendell was alive that particular morning, and the Lord of Imalrids was walking the stone paths that wound themselves throughout the golden city. The change of seasons was upon them and leaves, in colors of red and oranges, floated lightly to the ground, surrounding the Elvish Lord. Elrond was in search of his three sons, for that morning they were to leave on a month long hunting trip that would take them to the borders of Gondor and Rohan. The Elvish Lord was not particularly pleased with the route their journey would take, for it would mean their passing the kingdom of Mirkwood, however he knew his sons were wise and if he told them not to enter Mirkwood borders, they would, hopefully, not enter.
The twins of Elrond and their foster brother, Estel, were reading the horses when their father approached them three small satchels in hand. As always he was the epitome of grace and he appeared to float, rather than walk, towards them. He fare welled each son and handed to them the small bags containing the very essentials including some herbs and food. Of course they had plenty of both that these were of a convenient size that they could carry them on their persons. The farewells were brief for they always held the knowledge they would see one another again. The elf lord watched, with Arwen, as the three sped their horses from the gates of Rivendell, and out of sight. Sighing he turned back towards the house. Arwen, whom stood beside him, sensed something was wrong and she inquired about what her father's fears were. He turned towards her mistrust in his eyes.
"They are sensible boys yet I fear temptation will be too much for them. Estel in particular"
Arwen knew he spoke of Mirkwood, of the feast that was to be held there in only a few shot days and of the youngest prince of mirkwood.
Prince Legolas
Ok ok so hate me. This is just a teaser. It was originally going to be a one shot but I realized that it would be too longs so I'm going to stagger it out. It is going to be a song fic and it will be completely A/L so stay tuned! Luv Alexis.
