There was a challenge on Madam Hooch's Broom Closet for Penelope slash, and even though I missed the deadline by like a month, I wrote this. It sucks. It's pointless. It's underage Penelope/Padma.

Most Ravenclaws realized they wouldn't win the House Cup any time soon and didn't get their hopes ups. Ravenclaws usually started off the year pretty well, earning points for handing in the best essays or answering questions right in class, and unlike the other houses, didn't get points taken off for breaking rules or forgetting important things (Hufflepuff), getting into fights (Sltherin) or setting off Dungbombs (all houses, but mostly Gryffindor). Padma Patil knew of only one Ravenclaw who honestly thought they could win, and that was Penelope Clearwater.
Now, Padma liked Penelope, but she had to admit that it wasn't so smart. In fact, not only did Penelope think they would win, but she also made bets with her boyfriend, Percy Weasley, about that fact. Penelope even bet with Percy about which house would win the Quidditch match- as if there was a question which team was better.
Padma didn't think about Percy much- she tried not to, otherwise she would feel guilty. And she didn't want to feel guilty. In fact, she didn't really want to think about what she and Penelope were doing at all. If they didn't talk about it, why should she think about it? It would just bug her. So she let it slide. All Padma knew was that Penelope had good advice and was a damn good kisser. They would find empty classrooms to kiss in, and later, in the common room, Penelope would help Padma with her homework and talk to her. They even talked about boys once or twice. Padma had asked about Percy, and somehow the topic turned to Padma and boys. Padma laughed when Penelope asked if she had a boyfriend- Padma thought to herself that if she did, she wouldn't be kissing Penelope at all. But then she felt guilty; wasn't Percy Penelope's boyfriend? And Penelope still kissed Padma... Padma wanted to ask Penelope about this. "Who would be my boyfriend?" Padma had asked, instead. She complained about the boys in her year. Terry was the only nice looking boy in her year, and he was always either quiet or talking about Quidditch. Penelope smiled. "When I was your age, all the boys were childish, too." Padma didn't really think about this until much later.
"When I was your age..." Yes, Penelope is older, isn't she. That doesn't seem to bother her, though. Or maybe it does? Perhaps she feels guilty. Maybe that's why we never talk about it. Maybe... maybe... Padma hates maybes. She hates maybes, yet she finds herself stuck in them. Penelope revealed to Padma that her first kiss was with her. So she only kissed two people so far- Padma and Percy. I've only kissed one person, Padma mused.
Padma knew, from the way her friends talked, that they didn't do any of the stuff she did. They hadn't even kissed. One night, right after she came, Penelope told Padma she never did "stuff like this" with Percy. Why me? Padma didn't ask. I'm just a third-year. Percy's your boyfriend! Padma was screaming at Penelope from the inside, and screamed even more, watching Penelope and Percy kiss after the Ravenclaw/Gryffindor Quidditch match, after Penelope handed Percy the money. They left, probably to find an empty classroom to go to. Padma really hoped that they'd have sex. So I'm not the only one who's corrupted.
