My mind's in shambles,

I just can't think.

I sat beside you,

On the tear stained couch.

I let down my barrier

And held you in my arms.

My emotions ran away with me,

As you sobbed into my chest.

I became lost in your beauty

And I couldn't find myself.

You told me that Yamucha,

Had dumped you once again.

I said you deserved someone better,

But you wondered who.

Our eyes met together,

In a passionate instant,

As a cloud blocked out the sun.

The room grew darker,

Adding to the mood.

I had never seen you in such a light before.

We drew closer together,

Pressing even farther.

Out of nowhere you kissed me,

Your tears touched my face.

I tried to pull away from you,

But you held me in a tight embrace.

For seconds you just stayed,

Kissing me on the couch.

Until your dad walked in,

Then ran the heck out.

I finally got up the nerve,

To draw away from you.

Yet there was something in your eyes,

That told me and I knew.

We would never be the same,

The kiss had promised that.

I walked away, back to my room,

Wondering what had happened,

Wondering if the feeling I had had,

Was wrong or was possibly right.

The feeling had invaded me so freely,

It had broken my barrier.
