Author's Notes- I decided to do something different-write a collection of song fics, each one set to a different song from the same album. Each story is completely seperate from the next, none of them coincide. In fact, I use a variety of pairings and ratings throughout the series. There's everything from Harry/Hermione to Harry/Draco to Ginny/Sirius and everything in between. One of the few pairings that I don't have in here is Ron/Hermione, 'cause I just can't bring myself to write it. Sorry. Anyway, this just one of the stories in the series. I hope you enjoy it and choose to read the others.

Draco held her in his arms and wondered what he had done to deserve her.

Ginny was so pure, so beautiful. Yet, for some reason, she had chosen to love him.

He had no idea why. His upbringing had damaged him, tainted him.

Yet, Ginny saw past his name and his image and saw the man deep inside, the man that his father had never allowed him to be. Let's leave...oh let's get away

Sometimes, Draco just wanted to take Ginny and run away.

Somewhere where they could be together without fear and doubt. Somewhere where they wouldn't have to hide their love. Where they could just be together.

He wanted so desperately wanted to be able to shout out to the whole world that he loved her, but he knew that it wasn't safe.

No, reality forced them to hide.

It amazed Draco the way Ginny bared her entire soul.

She never hid her emotions. Was never afraid of getting hurt.

But he was afraid for her.

He was so afraid of his beautiful Ginny being broken. Her pure heart being torn.

He was afraid of being the one that did it.

Ginny gave him everything. Her heart, her soul, her life.

And what did he have to give her?

Not much.

Everything that he had was damaged, cracked.

"I love you." He whispered to the sleeping girl next to him. "And I hate having to hide that."

He wished that they go somewhere where they could be free.

Where they could be together without having to hide. Where no one cared that they were in love.

But, he knew that they couldn't.

He had suggested it once, in jest and Ginny had shook her head, very serious.

She had reminded him of their responsibilities, their friends, and of the cause that they were both so devoted to.

Neither of them could abandon it. Not even to be together.

There is no reason to hide
No reason to hide

"Someday." He promised Ginny quietly. "Someday we'll be together with no reason to hide from anyone."

And he prayed that that was true.

But more so, that he and Ginny would both live to see that day.

The day that they would never again have to hide their love from anyone, let alone their closest friends and family.
