Shining Star

She was born in the light

Baptized in goodness.

She holds inside her heart

A shining star called compassion

That never dims.

She has not an ounce of hate

Within her for anyone.

Happiness sparkles from her smile

Love shows in her gaze

Peace comes from her touch

Relaxation from her laugh.

Grant me the grace

To learn what is natural to her.

Give me patience

To teach her what comes

Best to me.

Grant us an eternity

To live, learn, exist together.
